The orginal PIMP, Part comedian and part rapper, Moore could make bellies split and cheeks blush all at the same time with his X-rated routines. Still, the role Moore, who passed away today in Ohio, is most famous for is that on the big screen as Dolemite, a well-spoken pimp in the movie of the same name. According to Eurweb the late entertainer leaves behind his 98-year-old mother and a daughter. His mother out lived him, wow.

Last week, Mathew Knowles broke the news that Beyoncé will embark on a 110-date world tour that will begin in April 2009 and trek through Canada, Europe, the U.S. (with a one-week stint in Las Vegas), Mexico, South America, Japan, Africa, and Australia. But what you didn’t hear was that Beyoncé won’t be the only Knowles on the road. Discussions are under way for Solange to join her big sis’ on tour. After seeing the elder Knowles rock arenas, fans would be able to go to a more intimate location and watch Solange perform at an official “after-party.” Specific details have yet to be announced. Louis Vuitton, Gucci Shut Down T.I. Video.. "STOP MAKING OUR BRAND GHETTO":??!!

Fashion house Louis Vuitton is once again taking a swing at the music business. According to MTV.com, the fashion company has teamed up with fellow designer label Gucci to stop rapper T.I. from releasing his video for “Swing Ya Rag.”

The song features T.I. bragging about waving his Louis Vuitton and Gucci rags in the club.

He says the video was shot weeks ago and that it, quote, “came out hot.” But the two companies called the rapper out for infringement “in one way or another.”

T.I. adds that he’s now focusing on a video for his recent number-one hit “Live Your Life” with Rihanna

Earlier this year, Louis Vuitton settled a lawsuit with Sony BMG over the use of their logo. At issue was an album cover for former “American Idol” winner Ruben Studdard, and a video for rapper Da Brat. Pop star Britney Spears was also mentioned in the suit for a video that featured the Louis Vuitton logo on the dashboard of her pink Hummer. A rep for Louis Vuitton said at the time, quote, “We don’t make dashboards.”

It's Hard Out There For A Pimp"..Terrence Howard booted out of Iron Man 2..!!!

He was the first one to be cast in the original and now he's the first one to be booted from the sequel. The Hollywood Reporter states that Don Cheadle is stepping in to replace Terrence Howard in 'Iron Man 2,' Marvel Studios' sequel to its summer blockbuster.

In the movie, Howard played Jim Rhodes, Tony Stark/Iron Man's best friend and future armor-clad hero War Machine. One scene featured Howard looking at a silver suit of armor and saying "Next time," a line that caused great delight for fans.

But there will be no next time for Howard. Marvel had no comment, but sources close to the deal said negotiations with Howard fell through over financial differences, among other reasons. Marvel, which had wanted to work with Cheadle, then decided to take the role in another direction and approached the actor, who is shooting Antoine Fuqua's 'Brooklyn's Finest' with Richard Gere and Ethan Hawke.

Rhodes is expected to play a larger part in the sequel, which is rumored to go beyond high-tech villains. Justin Theroux is writing the screenplay.

I could only assume that with 'Iron Man' taking in over $315 million dollars domestically, and over $570 million worldwide, Howard may have wanted a bigger piece of the pie than what was offered. Obama to Visit Seriously Ill Grandmother..!!!

Barack Obama will leave the campaign trail for two days this week to visit his seriously grandmother in Hawaii, the Democratic candidate's spokesman, Robert Gibbs, said Monday.

"Senator Obama's grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, has always been one of the most important people in his life. Along with his mother and his grandfather, she raised him in Hawaii from the time he was born until the moment he left for college. As he said at the Democratic Convention, she poured everything she had into him," said Gibbs in a statement.

"Recently, his Grandmother has become ill, and in the last few weeks, her health has deteriorated to the point where her situation is very serious. It is for that reason that Senator Obama has decided to change his schedule on Thursday and Friday so that he can see her and spend some time with her." The campaign is set to resume on Saturday. Madelyn Dunham, 85, helped raise Obama, 47. In a campaign ad earlier this year, the White House aspirant described Dunham as the daughter of a Midwest oil company clerk who "taught me values straight from the Kansas heartland."

She is also the "white grandmother" to whom he referred in a speech on race at the time he was pressed on his relationship with his former pastor

Terrence Howard Leads Homecoming Marching Band At Howard University..!!

Academy Award-nominated actor Terrence Howard dresses up in marching band gear and serves as Howard University’s homecoming ambassador and grand marshal at the school’s homecoming football game in Washington, D.C., on Sunday.

“I am very excited about participating in Howard University’s legendary Homecoming,” said Terrence. “I am looking forward to celebrating with the students and the distinguished alumni of this great American treasure.”

Sitting in the audience watching Terrence lead the marching band was Sean “Diddy” Combs, who had his arm in a sling. According to him, he just had shoulder surgery from working out too hard. Terrence, now 39, never finished college himself but was admitted to the Pratt Institute in New York. He didn’t complete his education as he had joined his brother on an audition for The Cosby Show and was cast in the role.
