Who said you couldn’t find love at the age of 53? Living Single’s, Kim Coles proved it to be possible, after posting wedding photos on a beach in the Dominican Republic with new husband Reggie McKiver on Instagram.

Coles wore a simple strapless tulle dress with mermaid hem from Della Curva. She accessorized it with a scarf (worn as a belt), a few bracelets, and earrings she’d had for years. Contrary to normal brides, Coles chose to wear a pair of ten dollar, silver glitter thong sandals from Target instead of a pair of Christian Louboutins.
They knew they were destined for each other when McKiver took her hand to read her energy and ended up holding it “a little big longer than he should have,” according to Coles. Fate or destiny, we are rooting for  the newlyweds.
I’m 53 and Reggie is 41 but I’m not a cougar. I can’t run that fast. I’m a meerkat or a prairie dog. It’s about the right energy. It wasn’t like I was trolling for younger men. It’s about energy. We’re ageless. Just two people on the same plane.

He was assigned as her security detail and the pair hit if off after McKiver won Coles over with an intimate palm reading.

This is just the beginning, in August, they’re planning on a second, much bigger celebration. “It couldn’t be any better,” she said. “Now we’ll have bridesmaids and groomsmen. It’ll be a whole other thing. We got to have our own private thing and now we get to have the big extravaganza.”

Tamar Braxton searches for true love in the cinematic video for “If I Don’t Have You.” In the Harlem Nights-inspired clip, the “Braxton Family Values” star teams up with her fellow reality stars including “Real Housewife of Atlanta” NeNe Leakes, Shateria Moragne-el, and “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” stars Malika and Khadijah Haqq.
The ladies work at a brothel and are used to a revolving door of men, but this time around, one man in particular has captured Tamar’s heart. But there’s one problem: He’s not in love with her.
“It’s not a love song. And it’s not about Vince,” said Tamar of her husband, Vincent Herbert. “It’s about an ex that I loved that wasn’t in love with me and I’m in a relationship by myself.”

The song will appear on Tamar’s upcoming album Calling All Lovers, due July 31.

Singer Janet Jackson has unveiled the lyrics video for her new single No Sleeep. The three-and-a-half minute clip takes fans behind the scenes of the recording session for the song, which Janet co-wrote and produced with longtime collaborators Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

Unlike typical lyrics videos that tend to use fancy typography while scrolling words across the scene, No Sleeep appears to use actual handwritten lyrics and scribbled comments from the song’s recording sessions.

B-roll footage of Janet listening to music in the studio is also subtly interspersed in the clip.

3rd times a charm...Vanessa Williams had more reason than most to celebrate on Independence Day.
The 52-year-old tied the knot with her partner of three years and 'hometown guy' Jim Skrip on Saturday in front of family and close friends in Buffalo, New York.
The beauty Queen-turned-actress surprised everyone - including her husband - by donning not one but two gorgeous gowns during the intimate ceremony.
'Honestly, when I saw Vanessa walking down the aisle, I didn't even notice her dress,' admitted Jim, who himself wore a grey suit with a red tie. 'We locked eyes and I got caught up in the moment, full of happiness and joy.
'When I finally noticed the dress, it was perfect for Vanessa: sleek, simple and sexy. She then had another surprise for me: she did a quick change into another beautiful gown for the vows ceremony. She was stunning!'
Vanessa's mother Helen arrived at the elegant ceremony in a pristine white Rolls Royce, which also whisked the newlyweds away afterwards.
Vanessa's daughters, Melanie, 28, Jillian, 26 and Sasha, 15, all served as beautiful bridesmaids in off-white gowns.

The youngest of Vanessa's daughters. 15-year-old Sasha Gabriella Fox, wore a flowy sleeveless dress.
Guests at the wedding, which included Vanessa's Ugly Betty co-stars Mark Indelicato and Ana Ortiz, waved the couple away with July 4th themed sparklers.

The couple decided to get married in Buffalo as it is Jim's and Vanessa's mother's hometown - and also the reason they struck up their very first conversation.

She told Madame Noire: 'I was on vacation with my daughter going to Egypt, cruising on the Nile. I wasn't looking for anything. I’d been alone for a number of years and divorced for ten years at that time. I found a hometown guy from my mom’s town in Buffalo, New York and started a conversation.'

With relaxation spas, nails salons and weave bars littering nearly every corner in New York City, cosmetics giant Mac has decided to enter the fracas and open their very first makeup studio/beauty bar later this month.

The 63rd and Lexington Avenue location will be competing alongside other NYC newbies like Blushington and Jolie Beauty Bar, which have all popped up over the last year hoping to capitalize on the country’s ‘beauty bar’ boom.
Mac’s makeup studio will offer your usual beauty bar staples: face contouring ($60 for 60 minutes), as well as a la carte services like winged eyeliner ($15), a bold lip look for $10, and a smokey eye for $15. There are also special services like makeup lessons ($90) and beauty parties ($50 per person).
The flagship studio opens on July 15 and is already accepting reservations. And because beauty never sleeps, the location will be open seven days a week.

2 American power couples wed in secret ceremonies over the fourth of July holiday weekend.

Actors Ashton Kutcher, 37, and Mila Kunis, 31, (pictured right) tied the knot on Saturday, according to People.com.

Kutcher and Kunis met on the set of the TV sitcom That 70’s Show in 1998. They played love interests on the show but they were both seeing other people during the show’s run from 1998 to 2006.
The couple started dating in 2012 after Kutcher’s then-wife, actress Demi Moore, 52, caught him cheating with a groupie. Their divorce was finalized in 2013.

“My first real kiss ever was with him on the show,” Kunis told W magazine in the August 2015 issue. She added, “We all get movie star crushes. I’m marrying mine.”
Kutcher and Kunis have an 8-month-old daughter, Wyatt Isabelle. There are unconfirmed rumors that Kunis is pregnant with twins. This is Kunis’s first marriage.

Meanwhile, “Piano Man” Billy Joel, 66, tied the knot with his 33-year-old pregnant girlfriend Alexis Roderick on Long Island, NY.
This is Joel’s fourth marriage that will end in divorce.

His most famous bride is actress Christie Brinkley whom he featured in his “Uptown Girl” music video in the 1980s. Their marriage produced a daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, now 29, who attempted suicide in 2009.

Roderick’s baby will be Joel’s 2nd. This marriage has gold digger status written all over it. Joel will be old and toothless by the time his 2nd child graduates college.

Sparks were flying when Missy Elliott took the stage on Day 3 of the Essence Festival at New Orleans’ Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Saturday (July 4). In addition to performances from Usher, Mystikal, and Erykah Badu, the hip-hop trailblazer delivered one of the most anticipated sets of the weekend.
“I know y’all got your hair did and all that but we came to party,” said Missy (via Billboard). “I hope you brought your beautician with you.”
She ran through her hits including “Get Ur Freak On,” “One Minute Man,” “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly),” and “Hot Boyz.”

But she had some technical difficulties when she got to “Pass That Dutch.” After asking the sound guy to repeat part of the song (to no avail), she was unable to continue her set for six minutes.
“See? These are the type of things that artists go through,” she told the crowd.
When the sound came back, she was barely able to get through “Holding You Down (Goin’ in Circles)” and “Need U Bad” with Jazmine Sullivan before the mics were cut off again, much to the displeasure of her fans.

Two hours later, at 1 a.m., she returned to the stage to apologize, accompanied by Essence Communications president Michelle Ebanks and Monica, who was slated to appear during Missy’s set. Ebanks attributed the abrupt end of Missy’s show to a “production issue.”

“I’m sorry I was cut off,” said Missy (via NOLA.com). “I came here to give 100 percent. I was cut off. I was disappointed. I thank you for coming out.”
