T.I. Shows Off Proud Family in VH1 Promo Pics

T.I. is bringing his family to television. The King of the South and his queen, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, will give viewers a rare look inside their private lives on the new VH1 reality series “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle.”


Cameras follow the Atlanta rapper as he is reunited with his family following an 11-month prison sentence. A vulnerable Tip adjusts back into his many roles as a husband, son, rapper, businessman, and father to six (King, Domani, Zonique, Messiah, Deyjah, and Major).

“Tameka and I have a strong, loving family,” said T.I. “In this family documentary, you will see the challenges of raising children while balancing a career. It’s like a lot of families, only our home is in the spotlight.”

T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle” premieres December 5 at 9 p.m. EST.

Mariah Carey New Body Loses 70 Pounds Using Jenny

The diva is making a comeback move over Jennifer Hudson, Carey is proudly showing off her post-baby body after losing a total of 70 pounds with the help of Jenny "formerly Jenny Craig " and starting the program on July 22. Making an appearance on the Tuesday, November 8 episode of OWN's "The Rosie Show", the "We Belong Together" hitmaker slipped into a tight black mini-skirt and cleavage-baring leather jacket.

During the show, the 42-year-old singer told host Rosie O'Donnell, In the first week after giving birth to Moroccan and Monroe, the "Touch My Body" singer lost 40 pounds of sheer water. "It was just water, initially," she said before crediting the Jenny weight loss program (formerly Jenny Craig) for her current slim physique. "When I started with the program, I lost at least 30 lbs. of weight that needed to be lost."

Mariah Carey has lost an amazing 70 pounds since giving birth to twins Monroe and Moroccan on April 30, and now she's flaunting her post-baby body--and looking better than ever doing it!

The singer is the new face of Jenny Craig (now just 'Jenny') and after a long and difficult pregnancy she turned to the weight-loss program to shed those extra pounds.

During an interview with Rosie O'Donnell Tuesday, the "Hero" singer revealed that she suffered from edema (severe water retention) during her pregnancy (she also suffered from gestational diabetes), and once she had the babies the weight-loss from the edema was quite dramatic.



In the beginning, when I first had the babies, I had so much edema... water and swelling. Most pregnant woman have that just in their feet. One day I was doing my thank-you notes and I noticed it started rising up the leg, so I had edema... I didn't think I would ever be the same person... The first week, I lost 40 pounds... of just water."



Now Mariah is back to looking fit and healthy again and is helping Jenny spread the message.

"I look at people who have been on Jenny and have gotten great results. It's about being healthy and just enjoying life in moderation... I say to myself, wow, this is something that everybody should be able to obtain," reads her message on JennyCraig.com.

"I feel better in every way. To me, it's mind, body and soul." She went on to reveal, "I was in a bad place physically during my pregnancy," explaining that she had gestational diabetes and severe edema when she was pregnant with her twins

Though losing a total of 70 pounds since giving birth, the new spokesperson for Jenny stressed, "The whole point of this is not just like: 'Oh, hey, look at me and my weight loss, I'm fantastic.' It's really health. Like I said, I learned it when I became helpless and felt so vulnerable like never before in my life."

Old School Hip Hop Legend Heavy D. Dies At Age 44

Such sad news to report, but one of Hip Hop Pioneers, the rapper, who rose to fame in the ’90s with his hits including “Now That We Found Love” and “Nuttin’ But Love,” died at the age of 44 in Los Heavy D, who was born Dwight Arrington Myers, died Tuesday in the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after collapsing on the walkway outside his Beverly Hills home, according to law enforcement sources. The Los Angeles County coroner's office is investigating the cause of death.

Myers, who was 6 feet 3 and weighed more than 300 pounds at one point, anointed himself the "Overweight Lover," but he had slimmed down in recent years. 

He found success in the music industry despite having dropped out of school after the eighth grade. Myers garnered praise for his radio-friendly, playful flows and was embraced as an unlikely sex symbol by female fans who called him a "big teddy bear."

Later he focused on a successful acting career which included film roles in "The Cider House Rules," "Life" and the recently released "Tower Heist." He was also featured in recent episodes of "Law & Order SVU" and "Tyler Perry's House of Payne."

Myers received a 2006 NAACP Spirit Award for his starring role as a Vietnam veteran in the play "Medal of Honor Rag." He also earned a Drama Desk Award nomination for his 1995 starring role in the off-Broadway play "Riff Raff."

Nicki Minaj Will Perform At The Victoria Secret Fashion Show

Self proclaimed Barbie Nicki Minaj is headed to the runway. The platinum raptress will strut her stuff with a performance on “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” later this month.

Nicki has been added to the lineup after Cee Lo Green pulled out. She joins previously announced performers Kanye West and Maroon 5.

The annual event will be taped on November 9 in New York City and air on November 29 at 10 p.m. on CBS. Supermodels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, Doutzen Kroes, and other Victoria’s Secret Angels will hit the catwalk.

In addition, Nicki will provide the entertainment at the launch for Versace for H&M tomorrow in New York, along with Prince.

Kim K. went face to face over the weekend as she flew from Los Angles to go see her soon to be ex-husband Kris Humphries in Minnesota, in a last ditch effort to get final closure on her marriage or save it, it appears there is conflict. 

Humphries has been lying low in his home state since news of the split broke, leaning on family and friends for support and training for basketball season.

"He's sad," a source close to Humphries recently told E! News. "He doesn't want a war. He's laying low."

Kim just returned to Los Angeles on Friday after spending two intensely scrutinized days in Australia to promote the Kardashian Kollection handbag line. Kim canceled her final appearance to be close to her friends and family during this difficult time.

A source told the website: 'Kim has been saying even before she filed for divorce that she wasn't sure about ending the marriage.  'It's definitely not accurate to call this a reconciliation ... or even an attempt at one ... but the door is definitely not shut.

Miami Basketball Wives Evelyn Lozada Six-Figure Movie Deal

Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada has just begun a new chapter in her life: media mogul. Lozada has confirmed that she signed a six-figure deal to co-author a book series and to develop feature films with Cash Money Content from stories based loosely on her own life. Cash Money also runs the record label that’s home to Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Wayne.

The book series, called The Wives Association will contain fictionalized accounts of stories that Lozada has gleaned from her years spent dating professional athletes, such as her ex-fiance Antoine Walker.

“The stories that you hear—what goes on in these relationships, and just being in that circle—I decided to let everyone experience a piece of it for themselves by writing this series of juicy novels,” Evelyn told The Hollywood Reporter. No word on when we can expect these inevitable book club reads on bookshelves, but we can’t wait.

Michael Jordan Causing The NBA Lockout To Be Extended

Jordan knows exactly what he said to Abe Pollin a few months after Game 6 of the 1998 Finals, during the last NBA lockout, back when he was a player in the forefront of the union’s negotiations. “If you can’t make a profit, you should sell your team,” he reportedly shouted at the then-74-year-old who had owned the Bullets/Wizards franchise for as long as Jordan had been alive.

And now that Jordan, as principal owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, is reportedly leading a faction of hardline owners pressing the league to accept no compromise, to not budge further than the debated 50-50 split, to take his franchise’s supposed setbacks out of the players’ hides in the exact way he denied owners during his previous life … no way, he hasn’t forgotten that.


It is still true of NBA ownership today. The fact that Jordan is on the other side of the table doesn’t make it untrue. Jordan has to know that. He has to know that the players know it, too. They’re in the middle of a spate of infighting that, in the end, might cost them a year of their livelihoods, no matter whose side gets the edge on the revenue split.  He doesn’t care if you like it or not.
