"Bean Pie Anyone?"...SNOOP DOGG JOINS THE NATION OF ISLAM!!

Bow wow, wow yippee yo, yippee yea..Snoop Dogg has announced that he has joined the Nation of Islam. The smoked out Newly Islam member, Snoop appeared at the annual Saviours’ Day convention in Chicago where he told reporters that he became a member of the religious group because he was “doing what’s right and representing what’s right.” At Sunday’s event, which featured a pre-recorded appearance by T.I., the host of MTV’s “Dogg After Dark” sat on stage while Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan gave a speech.

“I live how I’m supposed to live as far as doing what’s right and representing what’s right—that’s why I was here today,” said the Doggfather. “We’re doing a lot of wrongs among ourselves that need correcting.”

When asked if he had joined the movement he replied, “I’m already in the Nation, that’s why I’m here.

The Dogg father will host “Dogg After Dark,” a new jam-packed weekly variety talk show shot at Los Angeles hotspot The Kress on Hollywood Boulevard. “Dogg After Dark” will bring Snoop’s Doggystyle swagger to the airwaves with raw interviews with A-list celebrities and musicians, hilarious sketch-comedy segments, and musical performances from the hottest artists. The show will air every Tuesday night for seven weeks and feature Snoop’s own in-house band, the Snoopadelics.

The program is part of an unprecedented deal with MTV that also provides Snoop’s new album, Malice in Wonderland, with global distribution, marketing, and promotion. The album will feature production from Dr. Dre and Pharrell and is scheduled to be released later this year. In addition, songs will be released on MTV’s Rock Band music video game platform. Smoking after dark.. I mean- “Dogg After Dark” premieres Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 9 p.m. on MTV.
