Tyler Perry: Plays Santa in Atlanta

Atlanta producer/actor/entrepreneur Tyler Perry has been busy filling Christmas stockings this season, helping a few charities in need.  His largest gift, $250,000, went to the NAACP as part of an ongoing commitment. He also gave $50,000 to Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless, a feeding and housing program created by the late civil rights pioneer Hosea Williams.

Perry also gave  $5,000 to a Cherokee County therapeutic equestrian program that was burglarized last month; and $14,000 to chess champion Orrin Hudson’s Be Someone program, which teaches chess to at-risk children.

The check to Hudson was to help bring his Stone Mountain youth center up to code: The county requires a minimum number of parking spaces at such facilities, and the grading and paving would have cost $28,000, Hudson said. Hudson already had $14,000 committed by an anonymous donor, and Perry matched that amount.

“We are training champions here at Be Someone, and Mr. Perry has been our champion today,” Hudson said.  “He’s a spiritual person,” Elisabeth Omilami said. “What he has is God-given, and to give back is critical to him.”

Way To Give Back: Tyler Perry Treats 65 Philly Kids To Disney World!!

The 65 day campers from Philadelphia found the biggest celeb awaiting them wasn’t Mickey Mouse. This is so touching. Tyler Perry payed for 65 children from a Philadelphia day camp to go to Walt Disney World after reading about allegations that a suburban swim club had shunned them because of racism.

The black and Hispanic children who attend the day camp run by Creative Steps Inc. cheered Monday when they learned about the actor's gift.

Creative Steps director Alethea Wright says she's thrilled about the offer, especially because Perry "comes from humble beginnings" like the children in her camp.

CRAZY RUMOUR : Madea and Taraji Henson Are Engaged?

Now from where I sit sorry Tyler Perry is, Down low, Hiding in the closet and behind Oprah. Here’s the latest: Director/actor Tyler Perry is said to be engaged to actress Taraji P. Henson, who plays his wife in Perry’s latest flick about family discord, The Family That Preys. Perry supposedly fell head over heels (or in this case, heels over heels) for Henson on the set of ‘Prey’. He supposedly popped the question over dinner. (Boy Stop!!) Either Taraji is blinded by the money or she is paying no mind to the rampant rumors concerning Mr. Perry’s extra-curricular activities.
It’s easy to look the other way when your man is showering you with diamonds and other pricey trinkets.
Have we not learned anything from Star Jones & her ex-wife Al Reynolds?? I'm not buying it but it's makes for interesting Gossip! *********************************************************************************** HOUSE OF GLITZ: HONEY CHILD PLEASE!!...this is laughable, but on the other hand with his wrist bent and his wallet he can keep you F i e r c e ...Hey girl!!!

In this video clip from the show, Miss Perry wonders aloud why women flock to his football player friends but not to him. Although I would not per sue him for romantic purposes, I definitely would be trying to be his B.F.F.!! His Money is "Fine As Hell".

DOING TO MUCH?? TYLER PERRY WRITING A STORY INSPIRED BY "MICHELLE OBAMA"..!!!

*Entertainment writer Sonya Jenkins' website Sonya's Spotlight is reporting that Tyler Perry is currently writing a screenplay inspired by the life of Michelle Obama, the wife of Democratic presidential nominee, Barack Obama.
"I was just inspired by Michelle and Barack Obama to write a new script that is phenomenal," he's quoted as saying. "I'm writing it right now. Just watching him in the debate with Hillary and meeting him and Michelle and having dinner with them inspired this amazing story. "It's a love story with a little political twist. It's called, 'For the Love of You,' and it's about Barack's love for his woman."
*********************************************************************************** HOUSE OF GLITZ: I personally thinks he needs to stick to comedy..I guess we will just have to see.
