Reports states that Music mogul Russell Simmons approves of his estranged wife's new man, Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou - because the actor makes her happy.
He says, "He's a wonderful guy, a very sweet guy. I want her to be happy no matter what."
But Simmons admits he's not sure of the couple's exact romantic status: "I don't know what they're doing, but he's a nice guy." Simmons insists he'll always be close to his estranged wife because she's his best friend. He adds, "We have our businesses together and our children and we do everything for our children, no matter what."
