Following star-studded shows from Givenchy and Ralph Lauren, Alexander Wang celebrated the 10th anniversary of his label with the wildest party of the week, and music royalty turned out in droves. Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, and Mary J. Blige gathered at Pier 64 to check out the designer’s Spring 2016 collection.

Yeezy arrived solo and tried to avoid photographers by keeping his head covered up under a hoodie. Tyga cozied up with Kylie Jenner, and The Weeknd held hands with his model girlfriend Bella Hadid. Karrueche Tran and a gothic Christina Milian also filled out the front row.

“Someone was NOT having it tonight,” joked Nicki, who was seated next to Kanye. She also snapped a photo with The Weeknd and hinted at a potential collaboration: “Stay tuned.”

After the presentation, guests made their way to the strip club-themed after-party, where they enjoyed cocktails, Jell-O shots, and wings. Pole dancers performed and the designer threw Wang bills into the crowd.

The night capped off with surprise performances from Tinashe, A$AP Ferg, Ludacris, and Lil Wayne, who all hit the stage to entertain the fashionable crowd.

The rich get richer! Jay Z is ready to make waves. The Roc Nation mogul officially announced the launch of TIDAL, the first-ever artist-owned global music entertainment platform, during a star-studded press conference in New York on Monday.

An impressive lineup of artists came together on one stage including Alicia Keys, Arcade Fire, Beyoncé, Daft Punk, Jack White, Jason Aldean, Chris Martin, Calvin Harris, J. Cole, Jay Z, Kanye West, deadmau5, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, and Usher. Each is considered a founding member and has an equity stake in the streaming company.

 

Keys got on the mic to address the crowd. “We come together before you on this day, March 30, 2015 with one voice in unity in the hopes that today will be another one of those moments in time, a moment that will forever change the course of music history,” said the R&B singer.

“Our goal is simple. We want to create a better service and a better experience for both fans and artists. And that is our promise to the world. Our mission goes beyond commerce. It goes beyond technology. Our intent is to preserve music’s importance in our lives.”

Rihanna brought her new single “FourFiveSeconds” to life for the first time at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. Wearing a black pantsuit, she performed the acoustic song against a white screen, which moved to reveal a curtained backdrop.

Teyana fought back tears as she thanked her team. “I just want to thank everyone standing here right now because they played a big part in finally getting this moment, and it’s been a long time coming,” she said, while acknowledging ‘Ye. “It feels good to be signed to someone who understands me.”

She also got on her knees to express her gratitude to her mother/manager Nikki Taylor. “I love you so much and if I had a ring, I’d ask you to marry me,” she joked. “This woman, I put her through so much. Seventy-two hours of labor and some more shit.”

Yeezy got back on the mic to say a few more words (via MTV News). “If you remember with Pusha T, I turned up and everybody thought I was crazy. Then he came out and did that buck-twenty and ni**as were like, ‘Aw, man. Maybe the shit was good.’ But what I’m saying is Teyana provides something that’s so R&B, so black, so ‘hood, so missing, and so necessary in the marketplace.”

Third times a charm? Kim Kardashian and Kanye West just can’t wait to be married! In fact, though the couple originally planned on July, then June, for their upcoming nuptials, Us Weekly now reports the engaged stars are aiming for May for their Paris wedding.

Though there was no indication as to why the date moved, we speculate it had something to do with nabbing the perfect locale in the City of Light or the fact he can't get Kim on the cover of Vogue so they will get the spotlight one way or another. The magazine also learns that Kanye and Kim are planning a larger role in the wedding for their daughter North West, who will be 11 months old if the event goes on in May.

Sources say Kim “isn’t totally pumped about a huge wedding,” given she’s kind of already done that once before. However, she knows it’s Kanye’s first time and wants to let him have what he wants for their big day.

Though Kim would probably prefer a smaller she-bang, that doesn’t mean she’s not excited about the fashion aspect. An insider says the bride-to-be plans to have two looks for the wedding — possibly one for the wedding and another for the reception? 

The practice of a post-ceremony dress change is becoming more and more common these days — doesn’t sound too bridezilla to us!

ONE PUNCH... TEEN VICTIM SIX FIGURE SETTLEMENT FROM KANYE WEST

I'm sorry but we would take a punch with that type of payout.  Kanye West has agreed to pay more than $250,000 to the kid who he allegedly beat up in a Beverly Hills chiropractor office earlier this month.

The 36-year-old rapper became the focus of a battery investigation after he reportedly chased the 18-year-old into a chiropractor's office and punched him after the teen apparently hurled racial slurs at Kim Kardashian like we previously reported.

During settlement negotiations, the man tried to demand payment in the upper six figures, but ended up accepting around $250,000.

 While the District Attorney has not yet decided whether to charge Kanye with battery, if he does go ahead it will be harder to prove his guilt without a willing witness.  TMZ also reports the alleged racial abuse by the victim means jurors won’t mean sympathetic to him.
