KANDI BURRUSS WANTS A PRENUP

The ring don't mean a thing without a prenup, especially when you are a millionairess.  Kandi Burruss finally seems to have it all; a successful career, a happy daughter, a massive fortune and, now, a husband-to-be, as “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star recently announced that she and her longtime boyfriend, Todd Tucker, are engaged.

But just because Burruss is head over heels for Tucker doesn’t mean she’s not going to approach their marriage with all heart and no brains. The mogul recently claimed that she will definitely be signing a prenuptial agreement before tying the knot.

During a recent episode of the show, Burruss was surprised to discover that her younger cast mate, Porsha Stewart-Williams, declined to sign a prenuptial agreement with her husband, former NFL star Kordell Stewart.

Although Burruss hopes that both her and Stewart-Williams’ marriages last, she recently explained in her Bravo blog that she’s going to sign a prenup as a way to protect her hard-earned assets.

“I do believe in pre-nups,” Burruss wrote. “I know that some people feel if you are truly in love and are planning to be dedicated to your marriage that a pre-nup somehow means the person requesting the pre-nup is expecting the marriage to fail. I don’t agree. I feel like it’s a safety precaution.”

 Burruss also explains that she was influenced to get a prenup after seeing other couples suffer bitter financial breakups.

“I’ve had friends and associates who didn’t get a prenup say they didn’t need one, ‘she or he would never do that,’ etc. But then later when they got divorced, things got ugly, and the person tried to get everything,” Burruss explained. “They were like, ‘I would have never thought they would have done that to me,’ ‘she or he is not the person I married.’ ”

 “I feel like people do some crazy and vindictive things when they’re hurt, so I think there should be agreements set in place while everyone is thinking clearly,” Burruss wrote. “That way if D-day ever comes (and hopefully it won’t, but if it does), then it doesn’t have to get uglier and more hurtful than it already is.”

US Magazine report, Tucker proposed to Burruss with a "a gorgeous two-carat white diamond sparkler by ring designer Gregg Ruth." They report that she actually picked out the ring from a Las Vegas jewelry store about four months ago. She had told him about it, and he had it shipped to him in Atlanta.

Is the honeymoon over for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon? Just two months after their surprise Bahamas wedding, the lovey-dovey couple may be hitting the skids -- thanks to Mariah's demanding diva ways. With his wife wearing the pants in the relationship, Nick is rapidly gaining a reputation as the most whipped/punk man in Hollywood, something that naturally doesn't sit to well with him, sources confirm.

“He’s basically around to attend to her diva-ish ways,” the source says.

Shortly after arriving in Oahu, Hawaii, where Mariah was filming her new video for “I’ll Be Lovin’ U Long Time,” Nick, 27, diligently played the part of personal assistant. He dashed off to buy her gifts at Tiffany & Co. and Louis Vuitton, and when his 39-year-old bride hurt herself during the shoot, he was right by her side.

“He helped Mariah out of the pool,” an eyewitness tells our peeps. “She looked like she was going to cry.”

Meanwhile, Mariah is taking charge of another aspect of her hubby’s life: his career! “Nick had signed on to perform at a sweet-sixteen party before he and Mariah got married,” an insider tells our peeps.

“But now Mariah needs to oversee and approve his career moves. There’s no more silly Wild ’N Out, or small-time gigs. She wants him to do big venues and projects. She definitely wears the pants.”

The couple is set to appear at the July 4 opening of designer Christian Audigier’s Las Vegas club. For his part, Christian thinks the duo is still sizzling. “They look hot together,”. But will hot translate to a long lasting marriage?? Timbaland and his girlfriend, music exec Monique Idlett, have tied the knot, HOUSE has confirmed exclusively.

The two wed — in their sweats! — in Virginia on Tuesday by a family pastor.
