IGGY AZALEA SLAMS SNOOP DOGG FOR MOCKING HER ON INSTAGRAM

Has Snoop been smoking too much?   Iggy Azalea is taking Snoop Dogg to task. The “Black Widow” rapper is blasting the D-O-Double-G after he took a swipe at her on Instagram.


Over the weekend, Snoop posted an unkind meme to his 3.7 million Instagram followers. The photo showed an albino woman without makeup with the caption, “Iggy Azalea No Make Up.”

Iggy didn’t take kindly to the joke and fired back on Twitter. “why would you post such a mean pic on insta when you send your body guards to ask me for pictures every time we are at shows together?” she asked the 42-year-old rapper.

“my bodyguard stopped the fire truck that saved your friends life in canada when he almost burnt down the hotel,” Iggy continued. “and every time I’ve ever spoken to you you’ve always been nice as hell, I’m disappointed you’d be such an ass for no reason.”

The rappers have been friendly in the past. Iggy even appeared on Snoop’s GGN YouTube show in 2011.

In other news, Iggy will debut her new single “Beg for It” featuring Danish singer Mø on “Saturday Night Live” on October 25.

The ladies showed out at V-103′s “For Sisters Only” concert in Atlanta on Saturday. Keyshia Cole, Jazmine Sullivan, and Tamar Braxron were among the R&B divas who headlined this year’s show at Georgia World Congress Center.

Jazmine brought down the house with her hits including “Bust Your Windows” and “Need U Bad,” as well as her new single “Forever Don’t Last” off her upcoming album Reality Show.

Houston news radio station 92 FM is changing their formant to Beyonce music 24/7…

A Houston radio station suddenly ceased all local news operations on Tuesday morning.

92.1 FM started airing around-the-clock Beyonce songs instead of informational reports, traffic updates and weather conditions. On its website, News92 confirmed this morning that it had aired its last broadcast. The statement went on to say the "difficult decision is a result of sustained poor ratings performance and significant financial losses over the past three years despite the substantial financial and human resources we invested."

Radio One owns 92.1 FM. They said they're rebranding it "B92-FM." Yashima Azilove with Radio One told Eyewitness News the decision wasn't made quickly. She blamed poor ratings and dwindling revenues for the switch.

"She's Queen Bee. In looking to make a transition, we go back to what we know," said Azilove. "We know urban radio. We're in Houston, the combination seemed like a winning one."

CLEAR LINES... PAULA PATTON FILES FOR DIVORCE FROM ROBIN THICKE

Robin Thicke couldn’t get her back. Paula Patton has officially filed for divorce from her husband of nine years.


According to TMZ, the 38-year-old actress wants out of the marriage and also wants joint legal and physical custody of their four-year-old son Julian.

Patton cites irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the split. The divorce is described as “harmonious” and there are no real issues that will cause a conflict.

The “Blurred Lines” crooner tried desperately to win back his wife. He pled for her return on stage during his live shows and even recorded an entire album called Paula dedicated to her. The Hollywood Hills house they shared was put up for sale earlier this summer, but later delisted.

In an interview with Hot 97′s “Ebro in the Morning” in July, Thicke admitted that he had not seen his wife in four months. “We’re apart because we just couldn’t be together anymore for a while. There’s a hundred different reasons. There isn’t just one,” he said.

“She’s the best girl in the world, a great mother and still a good friend,” he added. “I also want to wish her well and let her know that she’s a great person and she deserves to have a good life.”

Patton met Thicke at an 18-and-under club in Los Angeles when she was 15 and he was 14. The high school sweethearts got married in 2005 and announced their separation in February of this year.

“We’ve known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there’s a deep love there—always was, and always will be,” Patton previously told Vanity Fair.

NE NE LEAKES UP FOR JOAN RIVERS FASHION POLICE JOB AGAINST THE OTHER CO-HOST WISHES

Not feeling this at all ...Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes is the top contender to replace Joan Rivers on E!'s Fashion police but the current co-hosts are not happy about it…

According to the source, the execs “love” the idea of having NeNe since “fans really respond well to her.” Now, the only problem is getting the co-hosts to like her as well.

"Melissa [Rivers] thinks it's a huge mistake and Kelly [Osbourne] and Giuliana [Ransic] think it's an outrage...They're afraid that it will become the NeNe Show,” the insider added.“Melissa just doesn't think NeNe should be in the running and definitely doesn't think she even comes close to filling her mother's shoes.”

 Kelly Osbourne, 29, “feels that it is pointless to continue on with the show. Kelly says that anyone that you try replace Joan Rivers with will fail miserably,” a source told Radar.

Meanwhile, Bravo’s Andy Cohen is pushing NeNe to take the job. “He thinks it’s a great idea and E! is listening,” the insider tells Life & Style.

Shee's back the queen comes to town. Mary J. Blige gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the recording sessions for her album The London Sessions in the black-and-white video for “Right Now.” She hits a London studio to record with British duo Disclosure, who produced the track with Sam Smith and Jimmy Napes.

“Our idea was to become part of London, to really embrace the culture, to really live in it,” Mary told The Guardian. “The music is free over here the way it used to be in the States. Artists are just free to do what they love. Listening to the radio you can hear the freedom. The music is living and breathing—you can hear that from Adele’s last album.”

The London Sessions is set for a December 2 release.

KELLY ROWLAND PREGNANT NUDE PHOTO SHOOT

Kelly Rowland is one hot mom-to-be. The “Motivation” singer, who’s just weeks away from giving birth to her first son, shows off her baby bump in the pages of Elle magazine. A beaming Kelly poses completely nude in one of the gorgeous photos, shot by Lance Gross.

She met the House of Payne actor while shooting the video for “Keep It Between Us.” “I remember looking at his Instagram page, and seeing all these crazy hot photos,” said Kelly. “I texted him, and he said he’s really been into [photography]. So we had been planning for a year to shoot and of course, I got pregnant and thought I’ll have Lance shoot the photos for my pregnancy. Lance and I had all these great ideas and we just put our heads together to execute the looks. It was a lot of fun.”

She had no reservations about baring her body. “It’s really—I won’t say amazing—it’s Godmazing [laughs] watching your body carry a human. I took a birthing class and I was amazed by all the things this woman was saying to me about birthing and what the body does naturally. Why wouldn’t you want to celebrate that? The body should be celebrated.”

She’s been obsessed with nachos, cherry pie, and chocolate ice cream, but is making sure to exercise. “All the women that I’ve talked to, that have worked out, have such an easy and speedy delivery.”

While she awaits her baby, Kelly has been recording her new album and is even thinking about starting a children’s line of clothing.

“I can’t wait until he gets here. I just have a couple more weeks,” she said. “I’m excited to bring a child into the world, and sharing that experience with my husband is probably the most beautiful part.”

OMG! Jimmy Fallon and will.i.am transform into their teenage-girl alter-egos, Sarah and mir.i.am, in the music video for “Ew!” which premiered on “The Tonight Show.” The BFFs hit their high school dance and rap about things they find “Ew!” like silicon butts, ratchet outfits, and most of all, Sarah’s stepdad Gary.

“I am not hating, I am merely conversating with my BFF Sarah,” raps mir.i.am, who sports headgear and a pink backpack.

NEW AALIYAH BIOPIC TRAILER

Lifetime’s Aaliyah biopic has been marred by controversy, and it’s about to get even stranger. The network has revealed the first trailer for the Aaliyah biopic Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B set to the sounds of Iggy Azalea. The Aussie rapper’s song “Goddess” plays between scenes from the made-for-TV movie, executive produced by Wendy Williams.

The 30-second spot gives us a first glimpse of Alexandra Shipp in the role of the late singer.

If you’re wondering why Aaliyah’s music wasn’t used in the trailer, that’s because Lifetime wasn’t allowed to license her catalog.

Zendaya Coleman was originally cast in the role of Aaliyah, but dropped out after backlash.

FIRST LOOK TRAILER: REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA SEASON 7

Bravo Network released the trailer for Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s upcoming Season 7. Apparently cast member Porsha Williams has outlived her time on the scripted TV show. She will only appear in occasional scenes.  She's also contractually obligated to co-host Dish Nation’s syndicated TV show with radio host Rickey Smiley.

Bravo Media’s favorite Georgia Peaches return juicier than ever when season seven of“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” premieres on Sunday, November 9 at 8pm ET/PT. Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, NeNe Leakes, Kenya Moore and Phaedra Parks are back this season, and joined by media maven Claudia Jordan as they foster new friendships and attempt to rebuild old ones. Also returning in a recurring role is Porsha Williams and newcomer Demetria McKinney.

ABC ‘HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER’ MAKES HISTORY

The ratings news for Viola Davis’ new ABC drama “How to Get Away with Murder” just keep getting better.

The show debuted last week with 14 million viewers, topping its lead-in “Scandal,” which had its highest rated debut with 11 million viewers.

Now that the dust has settled and 3-day DVR ratings have been tallied as well, “HTGAWM” has even more to smile about with news of a record breaking 6 million more viewers added on- for a total of 20 million viewers.

The really kick-ass part- the part that actually keeps shows on the air, is that it garnered a 5.8 rating amongst the coveted 18-49 crowd, the crowd advertisers actually care about.

The show’s record breaking and history making DVR ratings make the show an almost shoe-in for early renewal, assuring ABC another bonafide hit via Shondaland Productions.

Congratulations to Viola Davis who in my opinion sold this show on the strength of her talent alone- proving once again that there is an audience for shows helmed by classically beautiful black women.

FIRST LOOK TV ONE’S ‘HOLLYWOOD DIVAS’

TV One’s “Hollywood Divas” is set to air next month and with its debut just around the corner the network has released several previews of what fans can expect.

As previously reported, the network’s latest foray into reality TV is brought to us via Todd Tucker, who presently stars alongside wife Kandi Burruss on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

“Hollywood Divas” stars Elise Neal (The Hughley’s), Lisa Wu (RHOA), Countess Vaughn (The Parkers), Golden Brooks (Girlfriends), Paula Jai Parker (The Wayans Brothers) and aims to give the public a glimpse into what the industry is really like when you are a black actress.

According to Parker, black actresses never really make it no matter what they have accomplished because work is generally scarce. “You can be in a critically acclaimed hit movie today and find yourself unemployed for the next two years,” says Paula. “Even an Oscar or an Oscar nomination doesn’t guarantee you will find employment again.”

Because of that, Paula reportedly began work on her own production and called in several actresses to help her- and there you have the plot for “Hollywood Divas.” But, because this is a reality show and drama sells, things quickly go south because of the egos and well… I think we all know the rest.

BEYONCÉ AND JAY Z PERFORM AT GLOBAL CITIZEN FESTIVAL

Their still “On the Run Tour” Jay Z and Beyoncé brought their show back to life at the 3rd Annual Global Citizen Festival in Central Park on Saturday.

During her husband’s set, which aired live on MSNBC, Mrs. Carter made a surprise appearance to perform “Holy Grail.” As the crowd of 60,000 put their lighters in the air, the superstar couple dueted on “Young Forever.”

“Peace and love,” said Jay as he exited the stage with his arm around his wife.

The festival, whose goal is to end extreme poverty by 2030, also featured performances from No Doubt, The Roots, and Alicia Keys, who performed her new single “We Are Here.”
