DISNEY STAR ZENDAYA COLEMAN TO STAR AS AALIYAH IN LIFETIME BIOPIC

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Disney Channel star will play the late singer in the tentatively titled Aaliyah: Princess of R&B.

Thirteen years after Aaliyah’s death, Lifetime has announced plans for a biopic starring Zendaya Coleman.

The film is based off of Christopher Farley’s best-selling biography Aaliyah: More Than a Woman. It is being produced by Aaliyah Productions Inc., with Howard Braunstein (The Informant!) and Debra Martin Chase (The Princess Diaries) serving as executive producers. Bradley Walsh (Turn the Beat Around) will direct from a script written by Michael Elliot (Brown Sugar).

The 17-year-old actress-singer, who starred on Disney’s “Shake It Up,” will be able to draw from her musical background. She released her self-titled debut in 2013 and has appeared on “Dancing With the Stars.”

“She’s been an inspiration and influence in my whole career, her talent still shines brighter then ever, all I wanna do is honor her,” tweeted Zendaya.

“Show how much she accomplished in only 22 years….she’s beautiful inside and there will never be another Aaliyah, I just hope to share her beautiful story, and make her proud up in heaven.”

Lifetime is also developing a Whitney Houston biopic directed by Angela Bassett and starring Yaya DaCosta.

Singer Jennifer Hudson is back with the visual for her new Timbaland assisted single “Walk it Out.”

The track is the second to be released from Jen’s upcoming third solo album, due out later this year.

In the almost four-and-a-half minute clip you can see peep Jennifer walking it out via her neighborhood and turnin’ heads, including that of longtime beau David Otunga. Jennifer looks amazing these days, we love her hair.

EVE MARRIES MILLIONAIRE... MAXIMILLION COOPER IN SPAIN

She did that! Eve is a married woman. The rapper wed British entrepreneur Maximillion Cooper on Saturday in Ibiza, Spain.


The 35-year-old, born Eve Jeffers, and the Gumball 3000 motor rally founder, 41, tied the knot in a lavish ceremony, according to E! News.

The bride looked gorgeous in a white gown by British designer Alice Temperley and a cathedral-length veil.

“I’m so happy to make Eve my wife,” Cooper told E! “The whole experience has been amazing and we are both so happy to have tied the knot.”

“We met on the 2010 Gumball 3000 rally so it only seemed right to have the wedding at the finish of this years rally in Ibiza, which was the final stop on this years event,” he said. “We couldn’t be happier to celebrate such a special day with all our family and friends.”

Tony Hawk and Bun B were among those in attendance. “I present to you Mr. and Mrs. @gumball3000 themselves @mrgumball3000 and @therealeve now known as Mr. and Mrs. Maximillion Cooper! #meetthecoopers,” tweeted the Houston rapper.

 This marks the first marriage for Eve. The couple got engaged last Christmas after dating for three years. Cooper has four children from a previous marriage.

Eve is looking forward to having kids of her own. “It’s whatever God wants to give me, but I think with the four, two more is just enough,” she said.

MEET THE FUTURE FIRST PIC OF SINGER CIARA BABY

She gave birth to her first child, Future, on May 19. 

And Ciara finally shared a photo of her son on Sunday. 

The 28-year-old recording artist dedicated it to her 30-year-old fiancé, rapper Future, writing: 'Hey Dad aka Big @Future. Baby Future Loves You. #HappyFathersDay'

In the image, baby boy Future is clad in a button-up jersey with his name spelled out in bold letters, teamed with leather trousers and little booties. 

The one-month-old is lying on a white shag rug, reminiscent of the first image of Kim Kardashian's baby girl, North - whose mother is Ciara's good friend. 

The Love Sex Magic hitmaker shared another image on Sunday of her son clutching his dad's finger.

Rapper Future was already excited about his baby and planning his — well, future — even before the tiny tot made his appearance into the world! “I want [Future Jr.] to be better than me,” Future shared with US Weekly just days before the baby was born. “I would encourage him in anything he wants to do. I want to be behind him, of course.” Aww.

Ciara revealed that she knew all along what she wanted to call the tot. She explained: 'I went with what felt right in my soul and my gut. I didn't second guess it.' Luckily, the Body Party star also admitted her pregnancy had been 'very easy.'

The 37-year-old actress cut an impressive figure in a plunging black dress and vivid orange heels at the Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

The non-profit organization Women In Film honours extraordinary women in the entertainment industry at their annual benefit gala, the Crystal + Lucy Awards. Kerry was honoured with the Lucy Award for Excellence in Television, while actresses Cate Blanchett, Eva Longoria, Rose Byrne, and Jennifer Lee will also be recognised with their own awards.

JADEN AND WILLOW SMITH NAMED VANITY FAIR NEXT WAVE OF STARS

Jaden and Willow Smith are taking over Hollywood and the pages of Vanity Fair. The children of Will and Jada are among “The Next Wave” of up-and-coming stars featured in the magazine’s July issue.

They join 21 other young actors and actresses including Zoë Kravitz, Bella Thorne, Odeya Rush, Zoey Deutch, Jack Reynor, and Olivia Cooke.

Jaden and Willow, who reside with their parents in Calabasas, Calif., let the magazine into their world. Thirteen-year-old Willow reveals that her favorite shoes are Dr. Martens and her favorite movies to watch with her parents are feminist documentaries.

So, remember we told you Nia Long was set to star in WeTV’s upcoming legal drama “The Divide?” Well, the show now has an official air date of July23rd, and with it a preview of what we can expect to see from Nia’s character.

As previously reported, Nia will play a character named Billie Page, a powerhouse corporate attorney at a crossroads in both her personal and professional life.

Season four of “Braxton Family Values” is almost upon us and WeTV has decided to release their very first preview of what fans can expect from Toni, Tamar, Trina, Towanda, Traci and Mama Evelyn.

It appears Season four will be all about the sisters relocating to Los Angeles and finally committing to doing their long talked about collaborative gospel album.

Kelly Rowland is fulfilling her destiny and  has the Internet abuzz with rumors that she’s expecting her first child. And it looks like Blue Ivy may soon have a playmate. The Destiny’s Child singer posted a photo of a pair of adult Nike Jordans next to a pair of baby Jordans with the caption, “I’ll be stuntin like my daddy…..”

She also tagged her husband Tim Witherspoon in the photo.

Kelly and Witherspoon, her manager and best friend, wed in a secret ceremony last month in Costa Rica.

Just last night, Kelly stepped out to the premiere of Think Like a Man Too wearing a loose-fitting top to possibly cover up her pregnant belly.

We can already tell that Kelly and Tim’s baby is going to be one of the best-dressed tots in Tinsel Town! In addition to the adorable Air Jordans the couple picked up for their future child, they were also spotted shopping for baby items at Bel Bambini in West Hollywood on May 27.

They “checked out the furniture and strollers on the second floor and walked around downstairs,” an onlooker tells People magazine.

Halle Berry and Gabrielle Aubry share custody of their 6-year-old daughter Nahla but a judge ruled yesterday that Halle must pay Aubry $16k a month in child support until Nahla turns 19 or graduates from high school.

Halle must also pay Aubry a $115k lump sum retroactive payment.

Halle and Gabrielle began dating in 2005 and broke-up after five years together.

Halle married actor Olivier Martinez in 2013. They have one son together.
