RITA ORA COVERS PAPER MAGAZINE "TALKS ABOUT PRINCE BEING FEATURED ON HER NEW ALBUM"

“Conquering America for a U.K. artist is incredible because that’s what everybody wants and dreams about,” the British sensation told Paper magazine. “So yeah, I am a bit nervous. I am a bit scared, I’ll be honest.”

Already a household name overseas, Rita Ora has set her sights on conquering America with her sophomore album, which is set to feature some superstar collaborators including Macklemore and the legendary Prince.

While her 2012 self-titled debut was never released in the U.S., the follow-up will arrive stateside this summer.

she was most excited when she received a call from Prince. “We did a few tracks together. I flew to Minneapolis and went to Paisley Park, which is like his iconic studios and we just made music. I was there for a week. It was the best thing I have ever done in my life.”

The 23-year-old singer, who was just 17 when Jay Z signed her to Roc Nation, has developed a bond with her mentor throughout the years. “Now we’re at a place where I’ve grown up a little bit; it’s been two years since my last album,” she said. “It’s more of a brother-sister relationship really. He really cares about me and it’s nice to see a boss who also really wants you to succeed and he’s really doing everything in his power to make this perfect.”

There’s been speculation that Karrueche pulled the plug when she found out he had hooked up with another girl in his facility at the beginning of March — but we’re told the break-up preceded that … We’re told Karrueche ended things after she visited Chris in rehab the month before.

Sources tell us … Karrueche saw Chris’ phone during her visit — and it was filled with inappropriate texts from other girls. It was the last straw. We’re told Karrueche was especially pissed because she’d been nothing but supportive to Chris throughout his ordeal, even going to court with him. And if that isn't enough We're told Karrueche wasn't even aware Chris had allegedly been getting down with girls in rehab until long after the break-up.

According to my well-connected source down at the courthouse, an Atlanta Judge today ordered rapper Chris “Ludacris” Bridges to pay his baby mama a whopping $10,000 a month in child support for his 3-month-old daughter, Cai Bella Bridges. Tamika Fuller was granted primary custody of the infant, but Ludacris will get “supervised” visitations.

It isn’t clear why Luda’s visitations must be supervised when he had joint physical custody of Cai just last month. To be continued....

All grown up, former “True Jackson, VP” star Keke Palmer is joining the cast of the Showtime hit drama “Masters of Sex.”

According to Variety, Keke’s role as a nanny will be recurring, and kick off when season two makes its debut later this fall.

“Masters of Sex,” premiered in October of 2013 and stars Michael Sheehan and Lizzy Caplam as famed sex researchers William Masters and Virginia Johnson.

Since leaving behind her Nickelodeon days, Keke has appeared in several made-for-TV movies, including VH1′s most successful original film to date, the TLC biopic “Crazy, Sexy, Cool.

Keke has also wrapped production of three movies, “The Pimp,” “Brotherly Love” and “Animal.”

KELLY ROWLAND ROCKS ‘JAZZ IN THE GARDEN’ AND BRINGS OUT RAPPER NELLY

 

Former X-factor judge Kelly Rowland brought her A-Game to the Miami “Jazz in the Garden” Festival where she performed over the weekend.

Before a crowd of about 20,000 plus people Kelly took to the stage on day one to perform a variety of her hits, including “Ice,” “Bump Like This,” and her Grammy award winning single “Dilemma,” which features rapper Nelly.

 The St. Louis native joined Kelly for the performance and then performed a freestyle of some of his own hits.

Before her performance Kelly was interviewed and hinted at working on new music and a possible new television series. Could it be “What Would Dylan Do?” BET venture we heard about back in 2012? Kelly was pretty mum, but did say the project would debut this fall.

“Sometimes I listen to my first album and I be like, ‘Damn, that was crazy. I said that?’” laughed Ashanti while reminiscing about her past.

Ashanti served up something old and something new during her performance for The Boombox’s “Off the Record” series. The R&B diva dipped into her catalog with her 2002 debut single “Foolish,” and brought it back to 2014 with her Rick Ross-assisted banger “I Got It” and “Scars” off her latest album Braveheart.

She also covered Chaka Khan’s ’70s classic “Sweet Thing,” which is the song that got Ashanti her record deal.

Her rendition received the stamp of approval from the legendary singer herself. “I am so BLESSED 2 have your beautiful talent paying a tribute 2 me! What a great birthday gift! Much love!!” tweeted Khan, who turns 61 later this month.

So you say you use to be a stripper?....we doubt it after last night attempt to be graceful. TV personality rich bitch herself NeNe Leakes made her debut on Season 18 of Dancing With the Stars last night.

NeNe and her dance partner Tony Dovolani danced the Cha Cha. And while they did good enough to score 21 out of 30, NeNe — the self proclaimed former stripper — showed none of the moves that prompted ballers to make it rain — or even sprinkle — dollars on her.

Ne Ne has next week to redeem herself if she doesn't get voted off, but to be fair she did ok for her first time on the ballroom floor. Peep performance below:

CHRIS BROWN ORDERED TO STAY IN JAIL

When rich people problems go wrong! The 24-year-old singer was arrested on Friday after getting kicked out of a Malibu rehab facility where he was being treated for anger management. Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin had ordered him to stay in rehab while he decided whether Brown violated his probation in the Rihanna assault case.

Chris Brown will stay in jail until April 23 after a judge shut down his lawyer’s request for release.

On Monday, Brown appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom in an orange jumpsuit alongside his attorney Mark Geragos.

The judge said Brown had an “inability to stay out of trouble” and was especially troubled at a statement Brown made at rehab, where he reportedly said, “I am good at using guns and knives.”

Brandlin wants him to remain in jail until a D.C. jury decides if he committed criminal assault in his D.C. case, which goes to trial on April 17.

The L.A. judge will hold a probation violation hearing on April 23. If Brown is convicted in D.C., he could potentially be sentenced to four years in prison for violating probation in the Rihanna case.

According to TMZ, Brown was kicked out of rehab after he violated a rule to stay at least two feet away from women in the facility. He also initially refused a drug test, later agreeing to submit to one, and made disparaging comments about rehab during a group session.
