LEGEND DISCO QUEEN DONNA SUMMERS LAID TO REST

"So Let's Dance"...Disco Queen Donna Summers coming home ceremony was held on Wednesday May 23 at a church, in Nashville Tn   closed to the public.  Several hundred of Donna Summer’s closest friends and family will crowd into a Nashville, Tennessee, church Wednesday afternoon to say goodbye to the queen of disco, who died of lung cancer last week.


The family has kept the funeral plans secret, including the location, and cameras have been banned from the service.

Summer’s death at age 63 last Thursday began a flow of tributes for the five-time Grammy winner, whose music was a driving beat of the disco era in the last half of the 1970s.  Several legends in the music biz are present, including famed producer David Foster.

We're told Donna's casket is covered in white roses. The singer's entire family is also at the ceremony.

As we reported yesterday, the private invitation-only ceremony  and roughly 1,000 people are attending. 
Donna passed away in Florida last week after battling lung cancer. She was 63.

33 year old Ush testified 41 year old Tameka walked to his car and said, “I’m gonna kick your ass. Bitch get out of the car. How dare you bring this woman into my subdivision in my house?”

He added, “She continued to spit. At this point she pulled the door open, tried to swing at her.”Usher claims he had to get out of the car and block Tameka … who then hit him. Usher said he pleaded with Tameka to calm down, but claims “she threw a plate of food at the car” … as he fled the situation.

You gotta hear Usher describe the intense showdown -- and remember, Tameka previously testified she once told the gf, "I will f**k you up."  Peep Video Below:

And if that wasn't enough for you, Usher broke down in tears yesterday in an Atlanta court -- after his ex-wife's attorney insinuated he cares more about partying than he does about his children. Usher's fighting for more custody with his kids -- but Tameka's lawyer was trying to prove he'd rather go wild at a nightclub than be a good dad.


Usher was also grilled about his alleged drug use. The singer admitted to smoking pot in the past, but when the subject turned to his alleged ecstasy use Usher's lawyer objected.

RAVEN SYMONE "SO YOU THINK I'M GAY?" ADDRESS THE RUMORS!

 We always knew she had a little rainbow insider of her.  Last week, the media was abuzz with rumors that former “Cosby Show” star Raven-Symoné is gay and living with her alleged girlfriend, “America’s Next Top Model” contestant AzMarie Livingston. But now the Broadway star has come forward to finally address the rumors.

Symoné took to her Twitter page last week to say that her sexuality is no one’s business but her own.

“My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I’m dating to know. I’m not one for a public display of my life,” Symone tweeted.“However that is my right as a HUMAN BEing whether straight or gay. To tell or not to tell. As long as I’m not harming anyone,” Symoné added.

The rumors of her sexuality began after a source implied to the National Enquirer that Livingston and Raven-Symoné were living together in the star’s $11,000-a-month New York City apartment.

“Raven has hidden being gay for a long time now,” a source said. “But about a year ago, she was introduced by a friend to AzMarie, who is absolutely gorgeous. The two began see­ing each other, and a few months ago, Raven finally got the nerve to ask her to move into her lavish Manhattan condo. When her family found out, they blew their stack and it’s created a gay scandal for Raven.”

Little else is known about the alleged love affair and it looks like regardless of whether it’s true or not, Symoné is keeping her mouth shut. Either way,  more power to her. Too each it's own over here!

The two allegedly only have three months left on their contracts, and BET is looking to go into a new direction for the show.

“106 & Park” co-host Rocsi Diaz has her sights on Hollywood. The Honduran-Chilean beauty is leaving the BET show after nearly seven years and moving to California to pursue acting. We hope she doesn't become another Free...I know what you are thinking were the hell is she at?

Her “106” sidekick, Terrence J, is also said to be leaving the show to pursue acting.

Will Smith's nice guy reputation just took a big hit--er, slap.  At the Moscow premiere of Men in Black 3, TMZ's cameras rolled as a Ukrainian reporter got a little too close for the actor's comfort. 


Though Smith, 43, initially seemed open to reciprocating a journalist's friendly embrace, when the man attempted to kiss him on the lips, the actor recoiled, shoving the man back--and then slapping him on the face.

"What the hell is your problem, man?" Smith snarled, before smacking the bewildered journalist."He's lucky I didn't sucker-punch him," a visibly-angry Smith told onlookers afterwards. "Oh, sorry, I said that on camera."

 According to TMZ, the man who attempted to kiss Will is an entertainment journalist known in Europe for the silly PDA he shows towards the celebrities he interviews.



After the awkward incident, the 7 Pounds star continued to make his way down the red carpet, answering questions and posing for photos.

The 49-year-old actress just wrapped up filming the finale of the hit prime time soap, Desperate Housewives, and is already gearing up for her next series, 666 Park Ave., also on ABC. Williams made a similar career move when she quickly transitioned from the cancelled hit series Ugly Betty to Housewives.

666 Park Ave. focuses on an apartment building whose tenants experience scary supernatural occurrences, according to Hollywood Reporter.

“It’s about an iconic building in New York," she explains. "And in order to get into the building, you have to make a few sacrifices. And I own the building, so you have to get through me.”

The spooky series sounds like a far cry from the suburban drama of Desperate Housewives. Describing the finale, she shared: “We were all part of it, and it was fantastic.”
