R.I.P DONNA SUMMERS DIES AT 63

Before there was Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, there was disco queen Donna Summers.  Five-time Grammy winner known for her singles "Last Dance," "Hot Stuff" and "Bad Girls" was the reigning queen of disco from the 1970s to the early 1980's has died after a long battle with cancer this morning in her Florida home. She was 63 TMZ Reports. 

9:27 AM PST- TMZ has learned ... Donna died from lung cancer.  Several sources are telling us Donna believed she contracted it by inhaling toxic particles after the 9/11 attack in New York City.

9:35 AM PST- Donna's family just released a statement, claiming, they "are at peace celebrating her extraordinary life and her continue legacy."



Sources close to Summer tell states ... the singer was trying to keep the extent of her illness under wraps. We spoke to someone who was with Summer a couple of weeks ago ... who says she didn't seem too bad. 


In fact, we're told she was focused on trying to finish up an album she had been working on.  Some of the young heads might not remember her but peep video below:

JENNIFER LOPEZ NOT RETURNING TO AMERICAN IDOL

Who needs Idol when you have 3 kids two twins and a 24 year old boy toy to look after. Now the most powerful woman according to Forbes magazine is leaving one the most popular singing shows, yes Idol is losing another judge. 


According to reports, Jennifer Lopez will not be returning to American Idol as a judge next season, due to her extremely busy schedule.

“She’s just too busy,” a source told E! News about Lopez, who is set to embark on a summer tour with Enrique Iglesias and plans on bringing it worldwide in the fall.

A source close to production of the hit Fox show, adds that the network does not want to lose Lopez. “Fox does not want to let her go. They love her,” the source said.

WILL SMITH, JAY-Z, NICOLE SCHERZINGER ATTEND MEN & BLACK III UK PREMIERE

Will Smith, 43, admitted life had never been better as he talked to fans at the UK premiere of Men in Black 3 on Wednesday night. The film’s star Will Smith met up with his pal and business partner 43 year old Jay-Z, who was in town for the kickoff of the European “Watch the Throne” tour. 


Will’s co-star Nicole Scherzinger arrived with boyfriend Lewis Hamilton on her arm. The former Pussycat Doll makes her big screen debut in the sci-fi flick, which opens in U.S. theaters on May 25.

RICH VERY RICH NE NE NBC SITCOM PICKED UP PEEP TRAILER

Damn Ne Ne, First Glee, and now this ...The checks just keep on coming! Say what you want about this loud mouth southern belle, at the end of the day put PAID behind your sentence.   Ryan Murphy’s ‘The New Normal‘ show that just got picked up by NBC has a great new trailer that features NeNe Leakes going up against Ellen Barkin in her ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta‘ style. 

Earlier this year on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, NeNe Leakes proclaimed that she is wealthy, with her now infamous expression "I'm very rich, b*tch." And by the looks of things she is working hard to keep it that way.


 While most reality stars are lucky if they get 15 minutes of fame, Leakes has been able to parlay her reality show success into a second act. Yesterday NBC announced that she will be co-starring in the upcoming sitcom The New Normal.

The scripted comedy is about a blended family of a gay couple and woman who serves as their surrogate as they grow their family. NeNe will play the role of Rocky, an assistant to one of the gay men.


The New Normal is headed up by Ryan Murphy, who also is the creator and executive producer of Glee. NeNe made her debut as a TV actress months ago on Glee as Roz Washington, the no-nonsense synchronized swimming coach at William McKinley High School.

YOUR FIRED...TIA MOWRY NOT RETURNING BACK TO BET THE GAME & THERE'S MORE

Thank god she has a reality show, a new book some royalty checks and a husband, otherwise we might feel sorry for her.  But wait Tia is one of the main character that make this story stick...?  While BET's The Game has been renewed for a 6th season, series star Tia Mowry will no longer be on board.


Seems that Mowry, 33, found out about her dismissal from the show right around the same time that the rest of us did.

In fact, Tia was a guest on Wendy Williams on Tuesday pictured above to promote her book "Oh Baby", and she didn’t mention a word about being fired from the show. Inside sources say Wendy is seething because she thinks Tia knew she was fired and was holding back because she didn’t want Wendy to break the news on her show first.

But Mowry is telling friends she had no idea that she was unemployed

Shortly before last night's episode of the hit show, Tia took to Twitter to announce the news that she was ending her role as lead star Melanie Davis.

"Just wanted to let all my fans know that I will not be returning to The Game for season 6," wrote Tia. "It was an incredible run and I had lots of fun along the way. I am looking forward to my upcoming projects...the release of my book #OhBaby [today!], season 2 of @TiaTameraShow on @mystyle premiering in June, and my @ABCFamily movie coming out in December...more to come!" love u so much."

Pooch Hall, who co-stars as her husband Derwin Davis, has also been rumored to be making an exit. However, news of his departure has not been confirmed.

The Game's season finale will air June 5 at 10 p.m.

USHER EVICTING EX-WIFE....PUTS HOUSE UP FOR SALE

60 day countdown is in full effect, as Usher prepares to rid his life of evil.  R&B star Usher Raymond will decide the fate of his ex-wife’s living conditions in the next 60 days.


In an attempt to settle a malicious dispute, Usher and Tameka Foster are deadlocked in mediation. The biggest matter of contention appears to be Usher’s Georgia mansion. Foster currently lives in the house with Usher’s permission, subject to displacement if told to leave the property. 


Given the legalities of their divorce settlement Usher can sell the house at his discretion, which Foster claims will leave her homeless and buried in legal debt. He has yet to finalize her removal but can move forward with her eviction if a 60-day notice is provided.

Public records show the 33-year-old singer purchased the home in 2007 (the year he married Tameka) for $3,040,000. But the value of the home has dropped over a million dollars in recent years.

Friends say Usher is tired of sinking thousands of dollars into the mansion for its daily upkeep. He wants Tameka out so he can unload the pricey property and cut his losses.

Foster has suggested she receive a permanent home for her and Raymond’s 3 and 4 year old sons, sparking the fuse to a heated legal debate. Raymond responded “No way, no how” to the purchase of new property and highlighted the amount of money she has received throughout their relationship.

If Tameka wins, she gets an increase in child support which allows her to buy a similar sized home. If Usher wins, he gets to take the kids to live with him and his girlfriend Grace Miguel in California.

The sale of the 12,445 square foot, 6 bedroom, 8 bath mansion in Roswell is being handled by a private broker. It doesn’t show up in any of the public listings.  Friends say the private broker has been trying to show the home to potential buyers — while Tameka is at home — but she refuses to let them in.s

MEET YOUR NEW "X FACTOR JUDGES" BRITNEY SPEARS, DEMI LAVATO

Will you be watching?  Cowell said in a Twitter message that Spears, 30, the world's biggest pop phenomenon of the 2000s, will join him on "X Factor," which searches for a new pop star from tens of thousands of ordinary Americans.

Spears will be joined by singer and actress Lovato, 19, to fill the judge's seats left by Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, who were both fired by Cowell after a disappointing first season in 2011.

Cowell announced the news on Twitter, sending a photo of himself with record producer Antonio "L.A." Reid, Spears and Lovato and saying "Can't believe it's finally happening. Very exciting!"

His Tweet landed moments before Fox made the official announcement in New York in a presentation to advertisers of its new 2012-13 season programming.

Spears and Lovato both appeared in person at the presentation, ending months of speculation about the replacements for the show.

Lovato found fame on Disney Channel's TV series "Sonny With a Chance" before launching a career as a pop singer with hit singles like "Skyscraper".

"Britney remains one of the biggest stars in the world, she's talented, fascinating - and I believe she knows exactly how to spot 'The X Factor'," Cowell said in a statement.
"Demi's had an amazing career in music, TV and film for someone her age. She's young, confident, and enthusiastic. I think it's really important that she speaks to our younger audience."

Spears said in New York, "I'm so excited by this whole experience. It's so different from anything I've ever done."

The “Houston Family Chronicles” will center around the “I Will Always Love You” legend’s former manager and sister-in-law Pat Houston, but the program will also feature appearances by 19-year-old Bobbi Kristina, gospel star Cissy Houston, the tragic icon’s cousin Dionne Warwick and Grammy winner CeCe Winans.

The project, which was confirmed on Friday by Houston family representative Kristen Foster, will air on Lifetime, according to the Associated Press. A premiere date has not yet been set.


The superstar, who died in February, famously starred in Bravo TV’s 2005 reality series “Being Bobby Brown,” alongside her then-husband Bobby Brown.

34 year old Kanye West and 31 year old Kim Kardashian cozied up courtside at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Saturday. 

The couple wasn’t shy with the PDA, locking hands and whispering in each other’s ears as photographers snapped away. Yeezy was grinning from ear to ear the entire night.  I mean have we ever seen Kanye so happy?

When he was with Amber HO, they walked around like robots.  We still believe this is a fake relationship all to boost ratings for Kim's show. (tick, tock, tick, tock).  But as a side note Kim's shoe game is everything!

Game brought his grandmother to the game to celebrate her 77th birthday and introduced her to his famous friends including Kanye and Justin. “My grandma brought a date to the game & kicked me to the curb til 4th quarter,” joked the Compton rapper, who took a photo of grandma with ‘Ye. Lakers beat Denver 96-87 to win the NBA Western conference.

PLASTIC SURGERY NIGHTMARE WOMAN BECOMES AMPUTEE AFTER BOTCHED BUTT IMPLANTS

April Brown (pictured) lost her life as a successful cosmetologist and fashion designer, after receiving silicone injections in her butt. Due to near fatal infections, Brown, Mother of two, has had to have parts of all her four limbs cut off to save her life, according to NBC Los Angeles.

"I got the butt implants five years ago," at a pumping party said Brown. "For five years, I lived in pain. Excruciating pain.  They call it medical grade silicone but a lot of it is industrial grade silicone.”

Unfortunately for Brown, it was at a hospital, where she picked up an infection. By last year, doctors informed her that she would have to undergo the amputations of both hands and feet in order to save her life.  So if you are even thinking about plastic surgery think again.  Peep Video Below:
