Funny man, Chris Tucker is set to remind fans he's a stand-up comic first and foremost by embarking on a global comedy tour. The movie star insists once promotional work for Rush Hour 3 is complete he'll start plans for an ambitious stand-up tour, which will be filmed at certain stops for a performance movie. He said: "A lot of people don't know I started out doing stand-up comedy so I'm doing a stand-up 20 city tour, then worldwide. "I'll also be filming a stand-up comedy movie like Eddie Murphy did with Raw." OPEN CASTING CALL FOR NOTRIOUS B.I.G. MOVIE..

The role of Notorious B.I.G. for an upcoming biopic on the rapper will be filled through an open casting call. Notorious, which has been in the works for nearly seven years, will seek its star by auditioning both actors and nonactors who resemble the rapper, whose real name was Christopher Wallace. Anyone can submit audition videos beginning at 2 a.m. Sunday to www.foxsearchlight.com/notorious or www.biggiecasting.com.. An official announcement of the online casting call is to be made today by Fox Searchlight Pictures, which in 2005 secured the rights to a film about the slain rapper. Wallace's mother, Voletta Wallace, and his two former managers, Wayne Barrow and Mark Pitts, are producing the movie. "As it relates to the individual Christopher Wallace — his looks, his stature, what he represented, the swagger, the sensibility of the man — all those elements are very difficult to find, no matter where you go," Barrow said Thursday. "In the typical Hollywood world, no one came to mind outside of Forest Whitaker who could capture that essence genuinely." Barrow said the film's producers never approached Whitaker because of his age. Whitaker is 46. Wallace was gunned down at the age of 24 on March 9, 1997, after a music-industry party in Los Angeles. Both 50 Cent and West have albums due out Sept. 11. 50 Cent, who has sold better than West, has been riled by forecasts that sales of West's "Graduation" could rival those for his "Curtis" CD. "If Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11, I'll no longer write music. I'll write music and work with my other artists, but I won't put out anymore solo albums." It's a Girl for R&B Singer Tamia and Grant Hill

R&B singer Tamia and hoops star Grant Hill welcomed a baby girl to their family on Thursday. Lael Rose Hill arrived in Orlando, Fla., weighing 8 lbs. 6 oz., and mother and daughter are doing fine, a rep tells PEOPLE. It's the second child – daughter Myla Grace is five – for Tamia, 32, and the NBA star who says, "Lael looks like Myla." After six seasons with the Orlando Magic, Hill, 34, has been traded to the Phoenix Suns. The family will move to Arizona later this month. The singer announced her pregnancy on her MySpace page in March.
