Because of You’s polished string sections and muted horns could have been recorded in 1979, but they sound elegant, not dated. Singer T-Pain was arrested Saturday night in Miami following his performance at Radio One's Springfest Concert.
According to reports, T-Pain, born Faheem Najm, became upset when his music was shut off because the concert ran over on time. T-Pain then reportedly got into a heated argument onstage with police, which led to his arrest.
At press time, it was unclear if he was charged or still in custody. Other performers on the bill included Rich Boy, Rick Ross, Mims, Yung Joc and more. Check back for more information as this story develops.
TYRA Banks sure looked cozy with Knicks coach Isiah Thomas as they lunched at Club 66 in Midtown on Tuesday afternoon. "They looked like they were really enjoying themselves," our spy said. More interestingly, the sizzling supermodel, who arrived in her private limo, left the eatery with Thomas, jumping into the passenger seat of his SUV.
Banks' and Thomas' reps called the pair "old family friends" and nothing more, noting that Banks was Thomas' courtside guest at the final Knicks home game of the season.

On Wednesday, NY Daily News reported that Tyra and Russell Simmons skipped on their bill at the W. 57th St. Brooklyn Diner on Saturday. A spy said Simmons, who was with his two kids, had grilled cheese sandwiches while Banks had conch fritters. Yet none of them had the $100+ check, which was left unpaid. They even tried to play it off standing by the door and talking to other guests. Smooth…
Then yesterday when asked about it during an appearance on on ‘The View’, Tyra explained that she offered to pay, but Russell waved her off. Of course, Tyra had to prove this to the public by stopping by the Diner after her “View” taping and paying the bill with an extra $100 tip. Another smooth move (and an extra point for flashing cash to the camera).
