Beyonce Covers Essence Magazine July 2011 "Still Nervous Before Shows"



Bey is still out promoting her highly anticipated album "4",  has landed another  magazine cover , considered one of the top beauties of the world, Beyoncé Knowles is featured on the cover of the July issue of popular publication Essence magazine, which also features an exclusive interview. 

The cover also features an eye-grabbing quote that reads “The Year That Changed My Life” – which could be in reference to any number of things given the former Destiny’s Child lead vocalist’s growing profile over the years.

It's hard to believe that after 14 years in the game that Beyonce still gets nervous.  The Daily Mirror. The paper reports that Beyoncé arrived into London yesterday (June 1) to rehearse her set in a private studio as she preps to be the closing act for the Glastonbury festival – a three-day event that her husband Jay-Z also performed for in 2008.



The insider told The Daily Mirror, “Beyoncé is so nervous about the gig she has booked the space for two weeks so she can perfect the set, which will include dizzying pyrotechnics. She’s literally playing with fire.” The source also said that Beyoncé’s hubby Jay-Z and family buddy Kanye West will assist the singer by joining her on her set.




Excerpt from Essence on her 9 month vacation:

had talked about taking a vacation before, but always ended up in the studio after two weeks, so no one believed me. This time, though, I was serious. I was going to give myself a year to do the things I never get to do. Simple things like play with my nephew, pick him up from school, visit museums, go to concerts, see some Broadway shows, learn to cook a meal and spend time with my husband… Yes, I needed some relaxation.

I guess this is the issue that Beyonce's article is in that she will be winning an ward for.
