Deecmber 14. We told you it was coming. An insider emailed and stated that Janet Jackson will officially be leaving Virgin Records. Here's the full text of the email: Virgin is selling the company. With that being said, every artist is being affected. This could take up to 2 months to a year. What does this mean? All of the funds/money is being frozen for everyone unless they pay for it out of their own pockets. Janet isn't going to be shooting a video for "With U", because it's just not looking possible. She still plans on touring, and tour rehearsals will start up soon. A re-release? That's looking unlikely too. Do you really want her to? Why re-release on a label that is showing no support on other formats besides Urban? It'll just be a way to make more money for Virgin, and it just wouldn't be smart to do at this point. The tour will go on as planned, and Janet will sign to another label. Janet doesn't need a single and/or an album to tour. Remember that. Once Janet gets re-signed (she's shopping around now), the tour will push forward. It won't take as long as you think. She needs label support to tour. Hope this didn't ruin anyone's day, but it's the reality of the situation. to be continued...

Pamela Anderson called in to the Howard Stern radio show on Sirius Satellite Radio on Thursday morning to clear the air about her split from Kid Rock. The former Baywatch star -- who plays herself in the Golden Globe-nominated film Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan – dispelled rumors that ex-husband Tommy Lee, 44, came between the newlyweds. Anderson, 39, also denied reports that she partied her way through their four-month marriage, leaving Rock, 35, to stay home and watch their children. See a partial transcript from the interview below: Howard Stern: “It was reported that you were deciding between Tommy and Kid. Is that true?” Pam: “No, no, god no!” HS: “Do you still bang Tommy, when was the last time you banged him?" Pam: "No, no, it was a long time ago, I don't even remember. That wasn't it…I think I just got swept up and I wanted to have a family for my kids, but you remember really quickly when you get back together why you're not together." HS: "You said you weren't going to get married again, what made you marry [Kid Rock]?" Pam: "Well it was just a long time apart and the whole idea of having a family and knowing somebody and not having to introduce somebody new to my kids. It was a big mistake, but I was in St. Tropez, I would have married the fisherman on the corner! We just knew each other. We both wanted a family, we both have kids. But when we were together it just wasn't a good thing. We're just two very different people." HS: "It was reported that he was really upset about your role in Borat, that he was screaming at you..." Pam: "He was unhappy about that. I don't know why -- you'd have to ask him -- but he really was very unhappy about that." HS: "I don't understand, if I was your boyfriend, I would have been so excited for you." Pam: "Thank you, that's what I'm looking for. Someone who is excited about me. This just didn't work out that way." HS: "Now he said, his camp said that part of the problem was that you were always out partying and drinking and he was at home babysitting." Pam: "No, no, he's never been alone with my kids. That was horrible, I think that's what upsets me the most because I am home with my kids all the time, or my parents are here from Canada. I don't even have a nanny." HS: "Are you happy you miscarried and didn't have Kid Rock's baby?" Pam: "That's horrible, no. Everything happens for a reason and now we're all here and we're back to normal. It's like it never even happened

'I'm a target,' says Naomi Supermodel Naomi Campbell has spoken out about her reputation for having a fiery temper - saying she is the "target" of people who are attempting to take advantage of her. The 36-year-old catwalk star says she does not want to spend time alone in the same room with anyone to prevent further allegations. • Naomi's howler earns her a prize from English campaigners She spoke out as it emerged that police in London are taking no further action over claims that she attacked her drugs counsellor. But Campbell is due back in a New York court in January to face separate charges of assaulting her former maid with a jewel-encrusted mobile phone. Campbell faces up to seven years in jail if convicted of second-degree assault on her former maid. The Streatham-born model told Sky News: "It's been really like a tough year in terms of like the accusations and stuff like that. It's been very hurtful and blown out of proportion. "But I can't stop getting on with my life. I have to get on with my life. I can't pay too much attention to this negative stuff. "I don't like to live in the negative. I like to stay in the present moment and stay positive." The catwalk queen said of the London allegations: "What's awful about it is it's dropped - none of it was concrete evidence to be held. "It's just like 'where does this come from and why?' I just feel like I am a target. People have told me for months and years 'you're a target' but it's only just kind of sunken in that I am a target. "I have to be very careful who I'm around, what I say, who's around me. I cannot be with someone on my own anymore because I don't know the agendas that people have. "I've had to learn from my mistakes but I don't harbour grudges. I'm like a human like everybody else. I just want to have my health every day and my family's health." She added: "I'm happy right now. I know not every day's going to be great. I don't drink, I don't do drugs anymore and I feel great about that." Campbell could agree to perform community service to settle the assault charge in New York but her lawyer has said that she will not sweep the streets, as Boy George recently did

This guy worked on her soon to be Ex husband album, Party girl and part time single mom Britney Spears has been spotted with a new date, music producer Jonathan 'JR' Rotem. He and Britney were shopping together at The Grove outdoor shopping center in Los Angeles. They were spotted kissing in public Sunday night and ended up going to see a movie before heading back to Rotem's place, New York Post's Page Six column says. The couple saw “The Holiday” and then headed to the restaurant The 3rd Stop, where Spears sat on his lap and the duo made out in a corner table. "They looked like a couple in love. She sat on his lap and he stroked her back very tenderly. They seemed really into each other," The Bosh quoted an onlooker, as telling the tabloid. Jonathan "J.R." Rotem is a very successful music producer who has worked with Rihanna, 50 Cent, Paris Hilton, Snoop Dogg, and, of course, Spears' recently Fed-ex-ed husband, Kevin Federline. Apparently her no-panties rampage was successful and the pictures of her bare crotch caught somebody's attention. Rotem has also previously worked with Britney's ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake and her new best friend, socialite Paris Hilton.
Settling into her own better place and taking a minute with EUR’s Lee Bailey, the statuesque singer talked about two new projects she’s working on – outside of the studio. Adams is launching her very own clothing line, with both casual and couture styles. In addition, she has created a boutique record label aimed at fostering and mentoring talent in the music industry. The new clothing line, aptly titled Yolanda’s Clozet, are designs sparked by the singer from her own experience sewing clothing and restyling designs. “We have jeans and T-shirts coming out before Christmas. But in the spring, we’ll have the actual line out. We’re talking about ready-to-wear [styles] right now, but the couture will be coming in the fall. I think people are going to be surprised. We’re coming out with furs – they’re not going to be real furs – we want to be politically correct, so we’re working with Marc Bower who is a great designer and has some of the most impeccable imitation furs out there. You really can’t tell the difference, except for the price tag.” Adams was inspired to start the line because of two reasons: her own talent for sewing and designing clothes, and the necessity and desires she has to redesign and reconfigure her own wardrobe

December 12. For years Queen Latifah has managed to keep her private life out of the tabloids. But it now looks like the cat is out of the bag. MediaTakeOut.com located a woman who claims to be sleeping with Latifah's longtime girlfriend. In an exclusive interview, MediaTakeOut spoke with Ty, an open lesbian who says that she and Latifah's girlfriend (pictured above with Latifah) have been carrying on an illicit affair for months. Ty tells, "I met [Latifah's girlfriend] at the BET awards ... we exchanged numbers and a couple of weeks later it was on and popping ... since then we see each other every chance we can." According to Ty, who used to model for the fashion designer FUBU, Latifah's girlfriend may be ready to leave the Oscar-nominated actress. The model explains, "in the beginning, me and [Latifah's girlfriend] used to sneak around, but not anymore ... now we just do our thing and if [Queen Latifah] finds out about it - then oh well." The model added, "I know I'm better than [Latifah] anyway - what does she have to offer besides money - she's fat and nasty." And Ty isn't feeling the least bit guilty about coming between the Queen and her girlfriend of many years. When asked if she was ashamed of her actions, Ty told MediaTakeOuT,"I don't give an [EXPLETIVE] about that [EXPLETIVE] (making reference to Latifah)." Queen Latifah is currently in Canada shooting the film adaptation of the movie Hairspray. Representatives for the Queen did not respond to our repeated requests for comment. Developing...
NEW YORK - Rapper Foxy Brown was summoned to court unexpectedly Monday after being accused of violating probation stemming from a fight in a nail salon more than two years ago. Brown, appearing in Manhattan Criminal Court, where she was sentenced in October to three years probation, was accused of failing to keep appointments with probation officers, appear for anger management classes and submit to drug tests Brown "is flouting the court-ordered conditions of her probation," said Shawnda Weinberg, a lawyer for the city Department of Probation. "She's asked for special treatment. She's told us, `I'm not like them (others on probation).'" Brown, 26, was sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to misdemeanor assault charges in August for kicking one employee and smacking a second in the face on Aug. 29, 2004, in an argument over payment for a manicure at Bloomie Nails. The judge, who sentenced Brown in October, warned her to comply with the terms of her sentence or face going to jail. The judge would not let Brown speak, telling her to wait until her next court appearance when her lawyer is present.Outside court, Brown said, "I have never violated probation. This is happening to me because I'm Foxy Brown." The rapper said she had submitted to drug tests "and they came back clean, negative, perfect." Brown said the accusation about her wanting to be treated specially resulted from her reluctance to sit in a downtown Brooklyn probation office during the late evening for three hours "with all kind of criminals" without any security. "My safety was in jeopardy," Brown said. ... "I didn't think they were going to throw me in with the wolves." Weinberg suggested to Judge Melissa C. Jackson that Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, should spend some time in jail. SHE OBVIOUSLY THINK SHE IS STILL A STAR...NOT!!!

Accoring to the NY post, December 12, 2006 -- Rapper Busta Rhymes, already charged with kicking and punching a fan who accidentally spat on his car, was slapped with another charge yesterday - for the machete cops say they found in the vehicle when they arrested him. Rhymes, 34, whose real name is Trevor Smith, has refused Manhattan prosecutors' plea offer of six months in jail on charges of misdemeanor assault for the mid-August incident at West 19th Street and Sixth Avenue. The misdemeanor weapons charge is for the machete cops say they found in the seat pocket of the SUV when they busted the rapper for the alleged beating. Defense lawyer Robert Kalina is trying to fight what he sees as the "selective prosecution" of a hip-hop celebrity. Prosecutors counter that six months would be fair, given Rhymes' status as a violent predicate felon. ding to the NY post,

Here is some of that interview: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are finally ready to take their relationship public. The pair walked the red carpet for the first time as a couple at the premiere of The Good Shepherd last night in NYC. Now, in an interview with Vogue magazine, the very private actress opens up about her relationship with Pitt. In the magazine’s January issue, Jolie says that when she met Pitt, 43, on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, it was never her intention to ruin his five-year marriage to Jennifer Aniston, 37. "I didn't know much about exactly where Brad was in his personal life. But it was clear he was with his best friend, someone he loves and respects," Jolie, 31, says in the interview, obtained by the New York Post. "I think we were the last two people who were looking for a relationship. I certainly wasn't," she says. "I was quite content to be a single mom." However, once the pair began shooting Smith in 2003 and 2004, the pillow-lipped actress soon found herself developing a strong bond with Pitt and admits that “a few months in I realized, 'God, I can't wait to get to work.’” "Whether it was shooting a scene or arguing about a scene or gun practice or dance class or doing stunts - anything we had to do with each other, we just found a lot of joy in it together and a lot of real teamwork. We just became kind of a pair." Though Vogue doesn’t press the actress on whether the costars began hooking up while they were filming Smith, as rumors at the time indicated, Jolie says that the two had fallen for each other by time filming wrapped. "And it took until, really, the end of the shoot for us, I think, to realize that it might mean something more than we'd earlier allowed ourselves to believe," Jolie said. "And both knowing that the reality of that was a big thing, something that was going to take a lot of serious consideration." Jolie insists that she and Pitt remained "very, very good friends" and were resigned to staying platonic pals, until Pitt and Aniston announced their breakup in early 2005. Pitt and Aniston filed for divorce that spring, “and then life developed in a way where we could be together, where it felt like something we would do, we should do," Jolie says. Jolie also has two adopted children, son Maddox, 23 months, and another daughter Zahara, 23 months. In fact, it was Maddox who took Jolie's relationship with Pitt to the next level. One day, Maddox "just out of the blue called him Dad," the actress explains. "It was amazing. We were playing with cars on the floor of a hotel room, and we both heard it and didn't say anything and just looked at each other. "So that was probably the most defining moment, when he decided that we would all be a family," she said. Pitt later legally adopted the children -- who Jolie has nicknamed “Mad” and “Z" -- and the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Shiloh, last May. Jolie said that in addition to Pitt being a great dad, he has a "wicked sense of humor" and, "He's a great challenge to me." "We're constantly in competition with each other," she says. "He's somebody I admire based on the way he lives his life." Jolie says that she has no plans to marry the Ocean's 13 actor, but that they’re committed parents. "We both have been married before, so it's not marriage that's necessarily kept some people together,” she says. "We are legally bound to our children, not to each other, and I think that's the most important thing.” In the interview, Jolie also admits that she’s a very guarded person and has problems with intimacy. "I don't trust anyone," Jolie confesses. "I'm not a hugger. People make fun of me. It's something that I have a hard time with. If someone hugs me, I hold my breath. Snuggling, cuddling, hugging, crying . . . all that stuff makes me very uncomfortable
