ANGELINA I DIDN'T MEAN TO FALL IN LOVE WITH BRAD SHE'S TELLS VOGUE MAGAZINE!!!

Here is some of that interview: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are finally ready to take their relationship public. The pair walked the red carpet for the first time as a couple at the premiere of The Good Shepherd last night in NYC. Now, in an interview with Vogue magazine, the very private actress opens up about her relationship with Pitt. In the magazine’s January issue, Jolie says that when she met Pitt, 43, on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, it was never her intention to ruin his five-year marriage to Jennifer Aniston, 37. "I didn't know much about exactly where Brad was in his personal life. But it was clear he was with his best friend, someone he loves and respects," Jolie, 31, says in the interview, obtained by the New York Post. "I think we were the last two people who were looking for a relationship. I certainly wasn't," she says. "I was quite content to be a single mom." However, once the pair began shooting Smith in 2003 and 2004, the pillow-lipped actress soon found herself developing a strong bond with Pitt and admits that “a few months in I realized, 'God, I can't wait to get to work.’” "Whether it was shooting a scene or arguing about a scene or gun practice or dance class or doing stunts - anything we had to do with each other, we just found a lot of joy in it together and a lot of real teamwork. We just became kind of a pair." Though Vogue doesn’t press the actress on whether the costars began hooking up while they were filming Smith, as rumors at the time indicated, Jolie says that the two had fallen for each other by time filming wrapped. "And it took until, really, the end of the shoot for us, I think, to realize that it might mean something more than we'd earlier allowed ourselves to believe," Jolie said. "And both knowing that the reality of that was a big thing, something that was going to take a lot of serious consideration." Jolie insists that she and Pitt remained "very, very good friends" and were resigned to staying platonic pals, until Pitt and Aniston announced their breakup in early 2005. Pitt and Aniston filed for divorce that spring, “and then life developed in a way where we could be together, where it felt like something we would do, we should do," Jolie says. Jolie also has two adopted children, son Maddox, 23 months, and another daughter Zahara, 23 months. In fact, it was Maddox who took Jolie's relationship with Pitt to the next level. One day, Maddox "just out of the blue called him Dad," the actress explains. "It was amazing. We were playing with cars on the floor of a hotel room, and we both heard it and didn't say anything and just looked at each other. "So that was probably the most defining moment, when he decided that we would all be a family," she said. Pitt later legally adopted the children -- who Jolie has nicknamed “Mad” and “Z" -- and the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Shiloh, last May. Jolie said that in addition to Pitt being a great dad, he has a "wicked sense of humor" and, "He's a great challenge to me." "We're constantly in competition with each other," she says. "He's somebody I admire based on the way he lives his life." Jolie says that she has no plans to marry the Ocean's 13 actor, but that they’re committed parents. "We both have been married before, so it's not marriage that's necessarily kept some people together,” she says. "We are legally bound to our children, not to each other, and I think that's the most important thing.” In the interview, Jolie also admits that she’s a very guarded person and has problems with intimacy. "I don't trust anyone," Jolie confesses. "I'm not a hugger. People make fun of me. It's something that I have a hard time with. If someone hugs me, I hold my breath. Snuggling, cuddling, hugging, crying . . . all that stuff makes me very uncomfortable
