Star Jones on The View: 'Those Girls Were Hateful'..!!

Star Jones is speaking out about how she was treated during her departure from The View in 2006.

“Those girls were hateful,” Jones says of her former co-hosts.

In a new interview in the November issue of Essence magazine, Jones also opens up about “falling into a depression” after losing her self-titled Court TV show last year; her ongoing dispute with Barbara Walters (“Barbara set me up”); and her divorce from Al Reynolds, which was finalized in September.

Responding directly to Reynolds’s infamous YouTube videos, in which he stated he “still loves” Star, Jones responds bluntly: “I’m not in love with him.”

Jones, who laid low after the abrupt cancellation of her Court TV show, is currently in talks to make a non-scripted TV comeback. The reason she’s ready to start over? A sense of renewal she says she gained after spending an Under The Tuscan Sun-style summer at an Italian villa with girlfriends, including Natalie Cole. The surprisingly Star Jones – who dropped 160 lbs. after a 2003 gastric bypass surgery – also talks about getting back to dating. While she doesn’t directly address her new relationship with executive chef Herb Wilson, whom she was photographed smooching in the stands at last month’s U.S. Open, she tells the magazine,

“I want to fall in love again. I’m ready to love 24/7. I want happiness.”

Looks like Star Jones is moving on after filing for divorce from Al Reynolds. She was spotted locking lips with Chef Herb Wilson at the U.S. OPEN on Tuesday. He has the same flavor as Al Reynolds but will more money. Why is it that Star Jones looks so old in the face?

MR. STAR JONES STATES "I LOVED HER YA'LL"..!!!

Miss Al Reynolds is speaking out for the first time since his March split from wife Star Jones. In a post on MySpace, when I checked he was online now... Reynolds, 36, writes:

"I know in my heart that I entered my marriage with love and the best of intentions and leave it with great sadness that it didn't work."

Reynolds doesn't open up about the reason for the split, but he makes it clear that the media coverage has hurt him.

"If you think you are having a tough day, may I propose you walk in my shoes for a few hours," he writes. "In my mind, it feels like 'Dump on Al Month.' And I'm not having fun yet. I have been called a gigolo, a freeloader, unemployed, a sham and many other things that don't bear repeating. People on television, radio and the internet have spoken disparagingly of my life, my sexuality, my career and my integrity.

I'm tearing up...Not!!

"I indeed work very hard as a professor, business owner, doctoral student and author. I play hard too," he adds. "I make no apologies for that. A guy is entitled to a little fun, after all. "As much as I want to defend myself, it seems like a silly and futile exercise," he writes. "It's clear that the media doesn't want to let the truth get in the way of a good story. I hate to ruin their fun. I take great comfort in the fact that my loved ones and those people who really know me continue to love and respect me." Reynolds, who met Jones when he was a banker, is now finishing up his doctorate in organizational leadership and teaching at Florida Memorial University. “What I want people to know is that I am not the caricature portrayed by the media. I am complex, contradictory and capable of great intelligence but also remarkable stupidity. In other words, I am a human being. To me, labels are for clothes, not people. So…..Please don’t try to define me; don’t try to categorize me; and most of all, don’t label me. Instead, JUST GET TO KNOW ME. And if you see me, just call me Al.”

PISSED STAR JONES WEIGHS IN ON BARBARA WALTERS BOOK & OPRAH INTERVIEW..!!

ALL SNAP...!!..Star Jones unleashed a verbal ass-whooping on Barbara Walters today, telling Us Weekly, "

It is a sad day when an icon like Barbara Walters, in the sunset of her life, is reduced to publicly branding herself as an adulterer, humiliating an innocent family with accounts of her illicit affair and speaking negatively against me all for the sake of selling a book ... It speaks to her true character."

Star is referring to the revelation Walters made that she had an affair with then-married Senator Edward Brooke during the 1970s -- and the fact that Walters claims in her new book Jones forced her to lie on "The View" about Jones' gastric bypass surgery. What's crazier is that Barbara told Oprah that her and Star Jones had lunch and buried the hatch. Well apparently Barbara didn't realize Ms. Star "MUTHA FUC-ING" Jones was faking the funk because she just called her a SLUT for a lack of a better word in the above quote. STAR JONES FILES FOR DIVORCE.. MISS AL PREPARES TO TAKE ALL..!!

OK so this is not a shock and we all saw this coming. Confirmed that former "View" host Star Jones has filed for divorce from hubby Al Reynold Jones filed back on March 26, and the couple married back in 2004. We're told that Star is currently out of the country. Big Al -- as ever -- no clue where he is. She released a statement to "ET" that reads:

"Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in any one's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman."

Translation I married my girlfriend not a man who is a "Gold Digger". According to Reynolds' rep, Howard Bragman,

Al "intends to take the high road."

Translation I attend to rip that bitch for every fur she has thrown across her shoulder.!! Will it get ugly -- unclear. Reason for breakup -- unclear. Reason for marriage in the first place -- unclear.

Al has secured counsel who handled splits for Howard Stern, the Donald, and Diana Ross, among others. And he is going for broke - literally. Sources report that Al has acquired the services of divorce lawyer Stanford Lotwin. And get this: Al is going to claim that Star talked him into quitting his job as a stock broker so he could be at her beck and call for the past few years!

Side note there was a pre-nup but it read if he was married for a minimum of 2 years that he would receive a hefty payment well it's been 3 years so Cha ching...!!
