Monday,July 13Th 2009 will be Transvestite Wendy Williams Day in Manhattan it was announced today by Manhattan Borough President Scott M. Stringer. Stringer surprised Williams this afternoon on her top-rated radio show with the proclamation commemorating next Monday as “Wendy Williams Day.”
“O.M.G this is huge, I feel like I’ve arrived! Does this mean alternate side of the street parking rules no longer apply? Just kidding, this means so much to me, this is a huge honor,” said Wendy
A tremendously successful career as a radio personality and author, Williams has spent more than 20 years on the radio, 16 of them on the air in New York City.
The day-long celebration coincides with the national launch of Williams’ new syndicated talk show, THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW
