Akon, who supposedly has 4 wives, was recently turned down when he asked another woman to be his fifth bride. The Surinamese beauty said she couldn't stand to be just one of Akon's wives.
In an interview with The Voice, Rachel Ritfield said "I'm not a bad person, I don't do anything to hurt anybody else so why can't I be one of those women who have a normal relationship and have a family?""I want a man who thinks that I'm God's gift to creation and I can think the same of him" The stunning 5'11" model who was the face of American street label Akademiks, added that she couldn't walk up the aisle and exchange love vows, despite being in love with the Senegalese singer. "The reality check really came when Akon told me he had his fifth child with one of his wives. well i don't think akon has got to be ashamed it's his culture and he told her he had wive so she knew what she was getting into, it's not her fault either because she was in love and love is blind. All i can say is that, they come from different culture and she was not ready to completly embraced akon's one, and it was probably the same on akon side cause he could have divorced all the others for her but he did not... so she did well to leave
