Just days after wondering what Sanaa Lathan has been up to, we have our answer. She, Michael Ealy and Morris Chestnut have been low-key shooting a romantic thriller for Sony/Screen Gems titled The Perfect Guy. I actually gave a small synopsis of the film in my previous post, but had no idea the project had wrapped shooting until the trailer landed in my our inbox last night.
Just as reported, Sanaa plays a newly single woman (Leah Vaughn) who can’t seem to shake the guy she recently friend-zoned after discovering he was a few fries short of a happy meal. Morris Chestnut plays an old flame who re-emerges to help Leah, and from there we have a love triangle that probably won’t end well. The Perfect Guy hits theatres on September 21.
