The “Surfboard” diva is set to perform and receive the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, in addition to the other eight awards she is nominated for. Previous winners include Michael himself, as well as Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Beastie Boys and Madonna.
In anticipation of what is sure to be a hot performance, MTV has released a video promoting the singer’s upcoming appearance, which you can check out below.
FYI: There is a rumor going around that Beyonce will be presented with the award by none other than Janet Jackson, Mike’s sister, and as we all know, ICON in her own right.
