Dirt on the cloth...Bishop Eddie Long is A nationally known minister of mega church New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia GA suburbs of ATL, with more than 25,000 members. As previously reported two DeKalb County men filed lawsuits Tuesday Outing and alleging Long, leader of the church, coerced them into having sex with him in exchange for lavish trips, cars, cash and bling.
Is this just a Love triangle gone bad?? One of the men named in the suit Robinson was arrested in June 2010 in connection with a burglary at the church. Robinson and Anthony Boyd, 19, of Decatur, were arrested June 23 and charged with stealing items such as an iPad and an iPhone, according to a police report.
Robinson committed the burglary in retaliation after learning that the alleged "Down Low" Long was involved with other men, including Flagg, Bernstein said.
“He lashed out,” Bernstein said. “But if it weren’t for that act, we wouldn’t know about this. He talked to his friends and learned Long had other ‘spiritual sons.
The pastor’s attorney, Craig Gillen, adamantly denied the allegations.
"It is unfortunate that these two young men have chosen to take this course of action."
The plaintiffs, Anthony Flagg, 21, and Maurice Robinson, 20, began having inappropriate relations with Long at the age of 16, which is the legal age of consent in Georgia, said their attorney B.J. Bernstein.
The men are seeking a trial by jury and unspecified damages.
“It’s not just these two. There are young men around him at all times,” said attorney B.J. Bernstein said. “There are kids at risk now.” It’s his word against his word. Only Mr. Long and the two men know what happen. I’m not here to judge, I’m here to get close to the Lord. The Lord will take care of it.”
So is this a Love Triangle gone bad that has resulted in two men confronting there Lover who happens to be Bishop Eddie Long?? Either way they have kicked the hinges off of his closets and I know he must be Pissed that they are outing him.

It's amazing to me how many prominent individuals in the Black clergy remain silent on this issue. Pastor Eddie Long has an immeasurable personal influence and private connection to many celebrities, politicians and huge figures in the religious diaspora. So you mean to tell me that NO ONE would stand up and vouch for ...his character? Why the silence? Maybe they know something that we don't! Maybe so many of those who are connected to him are involved in the same activity and CAN'T talk! Think about it!
