Disney Studio’s first black princess. is “an American fairy tale” starring a girl named Maddy who lives in the French Quarter in New Orleans
said John Lasseter, chief creative director for Disney and Pixar Animation Studios. The film, set for release in 2009. Disney did not provide details of the plot. HOUSE OF GLITZ: This is a step in the right direction to re-enforce to little minority girls that they can be/are princess too. They need to see these kind of images. I applaud Disney for there contribution to a positive role model.
