Fantasia Opens in The Color Purple
"American Idol" winner Fantasia Barrino made Broadway debut in the starring role of Celie in The Color Purple on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 7pm, at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway).Last night, Barrino became the first ever "American Idol" winner to star in a Broadway show
