NEW VIDEO: MAXWELL – ‘LAKE BY THE OCEAN’

Just after unveiling the cover art and tracklisting for blackSUMMERS’night, Maxwell debuts the passionate video for “Lake by the Ocean.”

The cinematic clip, directed by Philip Andelman, is thought-provoking, opening in a village that’s in dire need of water. It progresses as the protagonist, a beautiful woman from the village, heads out to see Maxwell perform at a café. As she watches his performance and as he sees her in the crowd, passion takes over.

According to Maxwell, the video “depicts a world in need of water and two clandestine lovers who meet with liquid dreams, one being the bare-boned need for clean water, and another, the performer, who wants to be lost in the watery worlds of love and devotion.”

“Lake” is the first single off blackSUMMERS’night, due July 1. Maxwell is also heading out on his 30-date “SUMMERS’ 2016” tour, which will include a stop at ESSENCE Festival. Before all of that, he will perform at the BET Awards, where he’s promised, “it’s gon’ get wet.”

SINGER MAXWELL SEEN FROCKLING ON THE BEACH WITH HIS 22 YEAR OLD MODEL GIRLFRIEND

Yes he has a type and it's young and blonde...40 year old  R & B Singer Maxwell was doing what he loves to do these days and that's pose for papparazzi .

Bad Max: Naughty soul star Maxwell was caught looking at his model girlfriend Deimante Guobyte's delightful derriere as they frolicked in the surf in Miami on Wednesday.

The aging 40-year-old star made sure he stayed a few steps behind the Lituanian beauty so he could get the perfect view as they enjoyed a splash around in the water.

However he was rumbled when the 22-year-old looked over her shoulder and caught the multimillionaire musician in the act.

However she seemed tickled that the Grammy winner was keeping such a close eye on her, which was understandable given she was wearing such a itsy bitsy teeny weeny black bikini.

Although Maxwell has not released any new music since 2009,  we can see he's enjoying the fruits of his labor. Maxwell who has been dating the youthful lady for about a year has gotten some back lash from fans in the past.

“Here we go again with the white girls SMH Let’s see some Beautiful African Women”

“Ewww where are the beautiful sisters”

“No hate, but there is a lack of diversity and they are sooooooo skinny. #neverleaveoutyourcorefanbase”

“I’ve been Swallowed that pill.. For a about a month now you will not see him with NO women of color and this girl has her legs wide open?? Oh well to each his own SMH”

To the surprise of his followers, Maxwell ended up responding to the influx of anti-swirl comments with this message:

“Sick of some of you chiming in on my friends and innsulting them with racists comments. You know nothing you assume everything and you should know better and worship is for GOD not me so sit down”

“I don’t give a f**k,  I’m putting ever[y] type [of] girl in my Instagram go f**k yourself if you’re a racist a**hole!!!!”

Maxwell Performs On CBS' "The Early Show"

CBS "The Early Show got such a treat yesterday. Maxwell performed songs off his first album in seven years, the smooth R & B crooner showed us why 7 years was too long. Maxwell is still as smooth as he ever was and his music is timeless. The R&B crooner’s album "BLACKsummer's nights" is pulling in big numbers with first-week estimates between 275-300,000. The Video is from a Fan Cam so it's a little shaky...Maxwell performs "Sumthin Something"
