Actress Meagan Good and singers Kelly Rowland and Keri Hilson have been tapped by writer/director Nzingha Stewart to star in her upcoming Lifetime movie the 10th Date. The two-hour romantic comedy will reportedly follow the lives of four friends as they search for love by adhering to the advice of an online dating service.
Shooting for the 10th Date started earlier this month in Los Angeles and will reportedly wrap up in November. Lifetime is said to be eyeing a spring 2017 air date.
Fans hoping to catch either Meagan, Kelly or Keri in something a bit sooner, may be in luck. While Meagan and Kelly don’t have anything on tap, Keri can be seen in the upcoming holiday film A Meyers Christmas. She has also alluded to having a project in the works with Netflix.As for Kelly and Meagan, Kelly was most recently seen making guest appearances on episodes of Empire and Being Mary Jane. No word whether she’ll appear in either show next season. Meanwhile Meagan did a guest stint on CBS’s Code Black shortly after Fox pulled the plug on her freshman drama Minority Report.
