Somebody still got some serious problems, Chris Brown’s probation was revoked by a Los Angeles judge on Monday after an alleged hit-and-run accident.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney filed a motion to revoke Brown’s probation after he was charged with misdemeanor hit-and-run and driving without a valid license. After reviewing the case, Superior Court Judge James Brandlin decided to revoke Brown’s probation in the 2009 assault of Rihanna.
“In this matter, probation is revoked,” said Brandlin (via AP).The R&B singer was not taken into custody and was released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court on August 16, where a judge will decide whether he actually violated his probation.
Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos hopes the matter will be resolved informally without a major probation hearing.
Shortly before appearing in court, Brown tweeted about the hit-and-run accident. “I did everything I was suppose to do during the so called hit n run, I provided the correct info. There were no injuries or damages. C’mon!!” he said.
If the judge determines that Brown has indeed violated his probation, he faces up to four years in prison.
