NAOMI CAMPBELL VISITS JIMMY CAMPBELL CHATS ABOUT NEW SHOW "THE FACE"

Naomi Campbell visits “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” at Rockefeller Center in New York City! She looks great, could double for Kelly Rowland, no? Naomi stopped by debuting her new fresh weave and to discuss her new show on the Oxygen network"The Face".   When you think of role models for impressionable young women, Naomi Campbell isn’t the first person that comes to mind.

But in the television world, all sins are forgiven. Reinvention is a given. And few women in the world have been as qualified perhaps to mentor a model, than one of the world’s great supermodels.

And we have to spotlight this cute ensemble wearing Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2013 collection, Naomi wore a black-and-white dress with velvet panels, laser-cut detailing on the skirt, a white collar, white pleated cuffs, and a white skirt underlay. The supermodel styled her look with Alaïa ankle boots.
“People do not know me,” Campbell said on Monday to promote her new reality talent show, The Face. “I think there will be many things people will get, sides of me that they’ve never seen before.”

On The Face, which kicks off with a Feb. 5 special on MuchMusic, Campbell acts as both a mentor and executive producer. The format is loosely based on the popular The Voice series, where celebrities act as mentors to talent. In this case she is joined by Victoria’s Secret model Karolina Kurkova and Canadian model Coco Rocha.
“We’re not just looking for a pretty face. It’s a well-rounded individual who will become a brand ambassador,” says Eden Gaha, an executive producer of the show.
Differentiating The Face from other shows comes down to the mentoring, says Campbell.“I’m not a judge. The clients are the ones who decide, the brands decide who will fit the criteria of what they’re looking for,” she says. “But I’m very honest and very tough with my girls. I won’t be there to hold their hands in the real world.”
The supermodel is perhaps best known for a habit of berating maids and throwing phones at underlings. And there is that issue of hanging out in the questionable company of former Liberian president Charles Taylor and allegedly getting blood diamonds as gifts and dating a millionaire who is still married.
