Steve Whitmore tells TMZ ... Lost Hills deputies from the Sheriff's Dept. showed up this afternoon at the compound and someone inside accused someone else present of a physical assault.
Deputies took a report but no arrests were made. Janet Jackson and Jermaine Jackson were in a heated exchange pictured above, at the Jackson family home-- shortly after Sheriff's deputies responded to an alleged battery there on Monday afternoon
However, her son, Jermaine, tweeted after the initial panic:
"I want to reassure everyone (inc all sudden medical experts) that Mother is fine but is resting up in AZ on the orders of a doctor, not us"He subsequently added:
"This is our mother and her health is paramount. We are not inventing or plotting anything. We are following doctor's advice. Period."
The latest development comes after a letter signed by four of the late pop star's siblings -- Jermaine, Janet, Rebbie, Randy and Tito -- was made public Wednesday. It accused Michael's estate executors John Branca and John McClain of conspiracy and abusing their 82-year-old mother.
CNN is reported that Katherine Jackson's lawyer, Sandra Ribera, had said that her client left her California home on July 15, to fly to Albuquerque to attend a Jackson brothers concert. She was traveling with Rebbie.
Ribera told CNN that when Michael's 14-year-old daughter, Paris, called to talk to Katherine over the past several days, she was told each time she could not speak to her.
The sheriff's department thinks that the family is calling the cops as a plot in there case to change the Will.
As you know ... MJ's brothers and sisters want Michael's will invalidated so they can get a piece of the pie. But there's a BIG problem. If the will is invalidated, the prior will gets resurrected, and under that document Michael's siblings are completely cut out.
Sheriff's sources grouse that their budget has been severely cut which makes bogus claims sting even more than usual. They believe the end game here is money.
According to published reports, Janet Jackson faced off with her niece, Paris Jackson, who was spilling family secrets to the world via social networking website Twitter.com. A surveillance video shows Jackson repeatedly attempting to snatch Paris’s cell phone out of her hand. Janet apparently attempted to discipline the impulsive 14-year-old, who thinks she’s grown, but Paris refused to hand her phone over to Janet.
At some point Paris tweeted “Gotta love fam.”
