RAVEN SYMONE "SISTER ACT" ON BROADWAY

"That's so Raven is moving from the small screen into the hit Broadway play "Sister Act"  Deadline reports that the 26-year-old actress is taking over the lead role in Sister Act at the end of February.

Raven will take over for Patina Miller as Deloris Van Cartier. Whoopi Goldberg, who played Deloris in the film and its sequel, produces the Broadway adaptation featuring original music by Alan Menken, which opened in April 2011.

Rehearsals will start at the end of February and Raven will make her debut at the end of March for a minimum six-month engagement.
