On Sunday August 14th, 2011 Jennifer Hudson honored the memory of her late nephew at the inaugural Julian D. King Gift Foundation Hatch Day celebration.
The singer joined by her son David Daniel Otunga Jr. and sister Julia at the De La Salle Institute in Chicago over the weekend and handed out supplies to 2000 students for back to school. Julian was tragically murdered, along with Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother, in October 2008.
