"What were you thinking when NeNe was going off like that?" host Ellen DeGeneres asked Jones about their most recent explosion during the Sunday episode. "I was thinking my grandmother is going to watch this," Jones said, adding that she wanted to keep grace under fire, so as to not embarrass her friends or family.
Ellen then asked Jones, a 49-year-old attorney, if she and the Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 42, are on better terms.
"Well, the lawyer in me would say, ‘We were not friends before, we were clearly not friends during, we are not friends after,’" Jones said.
