Miami Dolphins Wide receiver Brandon Marshall Stabbed By His Wife

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall is recovering on Saturday after authorities say he was stabbed by his wife with a kitchen knife, Michi Nogami-Marshall  stabbed her husband in the abdomen in there 4 million dollar estate.


Someone in the home called 911, and Broward County Sheriff's Department officers responded. An ambulance was also ordered.

"The ambulance drivers were told to turn back because Marshall refused to be transported in the rescue truck," our cop source tells us. "He was sort of embarrassed about the whole incident. He was hoping the press wouldn’t hear of it, and he also wanted to protect his wife.”

 Marshall called a friend who drove him to Broward General Hospital, a full 30 minutes away.  Michi Nogami-Marshall, Brandon's wife of  only 18 months, ultimately confessed to officers that she stabbed her husband with a kitchen knife, but alleged it was in self-defense.

Nogami-Marshall, 26, was arrested Friday night and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon; she was released on a $7,500 bail the next day.   This booking photo released Saturday April 23, 2011, by the Broward County Sherriff's Office, shows Michi Nogami-Marshall.  Marshalls with craziness all in her eyes.
