Willow Smith To Remake Annie??

On the edge of a vibrant pop music career, Willow Smith is also to be rumoured to be following in the footsteps of big brother Jaden by starring in a remake of Annie.   It has been reported that Will Smith is in talks with Sony to remake the classic musical and Willow is set for the starring role.


Rapper Jay Z, who signed Willow to his Roc Nation label, is also rumoured to provide the music. He should already be familiar with the film after sampling Hard Knock Life in 1998.

The ideas are still in the development stages and it is not known whether the film will feature totally new songs or stick with the classics (that we all know and love).  Jaden Smith was the lead in the remake of 'The Karate Kid'.
