Move over Susan Boyle..... Did anybody catch Gabby Sidibe's 60 year old mom Tan Ridley, on last night's episode of America's Got Talent? When Ridley arrived to audition for the show, host Nick Cannon recognized her. "Don't I know you from somewhere?" he asked. Maybe from the New York subway system, which is where she usually sings.
Now that her daughter, who jumped to fame in the movie Precious, "is a big star," she's pursuing her dream to "become a great singer," said Ridley. "I love to see the smiles on peoples' faces. She had the audience standing and clapping after only a few notes of At Last. And YES she made it to the next round in Vegas the question is can she go all the way?? Peep Video below:
