February Essence Cover Issue: The Talented Mr. Perry and Lady "O" are Joining Forces for New Movie Project!!

The end of the Sundance Film Festival and already one movie is getting more than their share of buzz in Hollywood. Media mogul Oprah Winfrey and director/producer/writer/actor (Miss) Tyler Perry are coming together with movie studio Lionsgate to promote Sundance Film Festival winner "Push": Based on the Novel by Sapphire." Lionsgate reportedly paid around $5 million for the North American distribution rights (making it one of the biggest movie deals out of Sundance) and plans to release the film this year.
