Well, it looks like Lady O’s making mo’ money….
The Oprah Store opened on Thursday right down the street from Harpo Studios on Chicago’s Near West Side. The 5,500-square-foot store will house around 900 products that represent “the style and taste Oprah celebrates and shares on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show,’” her publicist said in a statement. “The interior was created to evoke a loft-like urban feel with exposed ceiling along with the extensive use of bamboo wood, brushed metals and green chocolate-flaked marble.”
Items include everything from books and workout gear – to cosmetics bags and homemade keychains – to a $300 pair of crocodile boots. The store also carries a signature line of baby products called “O Baby,” and select arts and crafts from South Africa.
