BEYONCE NEW ROLE AS "ETTA JAMES"

"B" does not rest looks like Beyonce is sticking to her album-then-film formula. Blackvoices reported that the singer will portray famed singer Etta James in the upcoming film Cadillac Records. The soul singer is mostly known for her classic record “At Last”. The film explores Chicago in the 1950s and Leonard Chess, founder of the South Side Chicago blues label Chess Records. The piece charts the rise and fall of legendary artists who were part of the label including James, Muddy Waters, Chess, Little Walter, Howlin’ Wolf and Elvis Presley. Jeffrey Wright, Columbus Short, and Cedric The Entertainer have also been signed on. Which will lend some humour.
