LUDACRIS LOSES HIS FATHER TO ILLNESS

Rapper Ludacris lost his father Wayne Bridges, 52, to an unspecified illness on Sunday (February 25). Mr. Bridges was being treated at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta at the time of his death. In a statement released by his publicist, Luda thanked fans for their outpouring of support and asked for privacy to grieve. “We are overwhelmed by the generous outpouring of love, condolences and support from family members, friends, fans and the many well wishers,'’ he said. “We thank you for your prayers and hope you will understand our need for privacy during this sorrowful time.'’ While the family has decided not to reveal the cause of death, Wayne Bridges was known to be in failing health for sometime.
