During the main event, which broadcast live on FOX Sports 1, Roc Nation’s own Dusty “The Beltway Boriqua” Hernandez-Harrison defeated Long Island’s Tommy “The Razor” Rainone for the vacant WBC Continental Americas Welterweight Championship.
Roc Nation’s leading lady Rihanna cheered alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and congratulated bossman Jay Z on a knock-out night. The fashionista was decked out in a denim coat, but it was Fabolous’ fashion that turned the most heads. The Brooklyn rapper and newest member of the Roc, channeled notorious drug dealer Frank Lucas in a chinchilla hat and coat as he performed “Lituation” and his remix to “Hot Ni**a” inside the ring.

Viola Davis went home with a People's Choice Award Wednesday night. And her acceptance speech had EVERYONE applauding even harder. While looking fabulous in an Escada dress on stage at Nokia Theater Live in L.A. "How To Get Away With Murder" star Viola Davis accepted the PCA for Favorite Actress In A New TV Series. The 49-year-old indeed deserved the win, and her acceptance speech demanded two snaps.
While referencing that shady comment from a NY Times writer several months ago about her being "less than classically beautiful", she said:
Davis gave a shout out to the fans, and then took a pointed dig at the story while she thanked the executive producers of her series: “Thank you Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers and Peter Nowalk,” Davis said to much applause, “For thinking of a leading lady who looks like my classic beauty.”
It was a big night for the cast of Shonda Rhimes’ Grey’s Anatomy, who took home the People’s Choice Award for Favorite TV drama. The show’s cast and crew were more than humbled for the love and support.

After posing up a storm, the actress-turned-director cosied up to America's Next Top Model alum Yaya DaCosta, who stars as the iconic superstar.
Whitney Houston was found dead in a bath in a room at the Beverly Hills Hilton on February 11, 2012, following a long battle with drugs and alcohol.
A coroner ruled the cause of death as accidental drowning. The singer had cocaine in her system at the time she died and she was also suffering from heart disease.'
Now two years following her sudden passing, Whitney's relationship with her husband Bobby Brown (portrayed by Arlen Escarpeta) will be the main focus of the Lifetime biopic that will premiere on January 17.
Ludacris is starting out 2015 as a married man. Less than a week after announcing his engagement to Eudoxie, the rapper and his longtime girlfriend have tied the knot.
Luda made the announcement on Tuesday (Jan. 6) by posting a photo of him and his new wife staring into each other’s eyes. The bride was beaming in a flowy white gown, while Luda looked dapper in a suit.
“Why wait? Did the thing before 2015. #mrandmrsrbridges,” said Luda, while Eudoxie added, “#Weddingbliss Mr. & Mrs. Bridges.”
According to TMZ, the couple got engaged on Christmas Eve and wed the same day. Luda popped the question during the day, then took his new fiancée out to dinner at a Georgia restaurant. When they returned home, there was a wedding dress picked out by Luda’s mother.
While it all came as a surprise to Eudoxie, she happily went along with the plan. A few family members and friends including Monica and LeToya Luckett were present as they exchanged vows.
Following the surprise wedding, they jetted to Costa Rica for their honeymoon.

“We are thrilled to announce we are #ClearblueConfirmed! Can’t wait to meet baby #2! Love Clearblue’s pregnancy test with Smart Countdown,” Mowry-Housley, 36, wrote. “It helped me get through the wait to get my result by counting down with me.”
The actress and Housley, 42, a senior correspondent at Fox News, were married in May 2011 and welcomed their son in November 2012.
And just in case we hear similar news from her twin sister Tia Mowry-Hardrict — mom to 3½-year-old son Cree — in the coming months, Mowry-Housley warns it will be a happy coincidence.

The world’s most dangerous group is coming to the big screen. In 2015, Universal Pictures will release the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton, based on the story of the notorious West Coast rap group. The film doesn’t hit theaters until August 14, but Ice Cube premiered the first trailer during a concert in Sydney, Australia this month. Several fans captured the bootleg footage and uploaded it to YouTube.
Directed by F. Gary Gray, the movie stars Jason Mitchell (Eazy-E), Corey Hawkins (Dr. Dre), and Ice Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson Jr., who plays his father. In the action-packed clip, we get a first glimpse at the Compton crew on the rocky road to stardom, including scenes of Dr. Dre in prison and a high-speed police chase.

Top 5 minus one....Comedian Chris Rock has filed for divorce from his wife of 19 years. A representative for Rock confirmed the pending split from Malaak Compton-Rock in a statement released late Sunday.
"This is a personal matter, and Chris requests privacy as he and Malaak work through this process and focus on their family," Rock's attorney, Robert S. Cohen said in a statement obtained by the New York Post.
"After much contemplation and 19 years of marriage, Chris and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Malaak said in a statement obtained by the Post. "My children remain at the center of my life, and their well-being is my top priority."
The couple have two daughters, 12-year-old Lola and 10-year-old Zahra. Malaak Compton-Rock is the founder of a nonprofit organization called styleWORKS, which helps women get jobs after going off welfare. Rock has repeatedly used his standup routine to poke fun at marriage, including one riff involving the late South African leader Nelson Mandela: "Marriage is so tough man, Nelson Mandela got divorced — he got out of jail after 27 years of torture, spent six months with his wife and said, ‘I can’t take this [expletive] no more.'"

It’s another boy for Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz. The “Girl on Fire” singer and super-producer welcomed their second son on Saturday (Dec. 27).
The boy, named Genesis Ali Dean, arrived at 1:52 a.m., weighing 6 lbs., 5 oz.
“The joy of joy is joy!! It’s a boy!! we are so grateful!! #blessings!!” said a jubilant Alicia, who shared the happy news on social media.
This is the second child for the couple, who have a 4-year-old son, Egypt Daoud.
Swizz has a daughter, Nicole, and two sons, Prince Nasir and Kasseem, from previous relationships.
On their fourth anniversary in July, the couple announced that they were expecting another baby. “Happy Anniversary to the love of my life @therealswizzz!!” said Alicia. “And to make it even sweeter we’ve been blessed with another angel on the way!! You make me happier than I have ever known! Here’s to many many more years of the best parts of life!”
Ludacris has put a ring on it. The rapper and his longtime girlfriend Eudoxie Agnan got engaged on Friday.
While on a private plane to Costa Rica for holiday vacation, Luda popped the question in front of the couple’s closest friends. As part of his “Mile High Proposal,” he had “Eudoxie, will you marry me?” written on a field and as they flew over, he told her to look out the window.
Luda shared a couple pics of him and his new fiancée after the romantic moment.
“BEST DAY OF MY LIFE WITH THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!!! ❤ #milehighproposal,” added Eudoxie.
The couple has been dating since 2008. This will be the first marriage for Ludacris, who has two daughters from previous relationships.

In honor of Jay Z’s 45th birthday earlier this month, Beyoncé and Jay Z traveled to Iceland for a celebration in the snow. Mr. and Mrs. Carter bared the freezing temps, but still looked like they were having a blast in the wintery wonderland.
The "7/11" singer rounded up a group of their close friends for a celebratory dinner at the super luxe Trophy Lodge resort for the rap mogul’s milestone birthday, complete with a surprise birthday cake.
Donning orange ski suits, they rode snowmobiles through the arctic tundra and honored Mike Brown by posing for a photo with their hands up. The couple took a helicopter ride (we see you, Blue), sipped champagne in the snow, and warmed up with a swim in the hot springs (check out a bikini-clad Bey throwing up the Roc).
Bey was all smiles as she rolled around in the white powder, and presented her hubby with a cake during an intimate dinner. Then the Carters hopped on a helicopter to explore the beauty of the volcanic island. We hear they flew over the Eyjafjallajökull volcano, which caused a huge disruption to air travel after it erupted in 2010, and the Holuhraun eruption.
The Carters are currently in Phuket, Thailand for the holidays.
Showing her love, Nick Young is one lucky dude. Iggy Azalea surprised her boo Swaggy P by buying him a 1962 Chevy Impala for Christmas. The Lakers star got behind the wheel and showed off his shiny blue ride on Instagram.
“My boo so dope!!!!! @thenewclassic thanks for the Christmas gift #LoveYou You Go Girl!!!! WestSide,” tweeted Nick.
Iggy presented the fancy gift (estimated at $100k) to him with a red bow and gift tag on it that read: “A gift for Swaggy P From: Iggy.”
The couple, who connected via social media, can be seen in the holiday 2014 campaign for Forever 21. Earlier this year, they purchased a house together in the San Fernando Valley.
“From her songs, I thought she’d be all about going to clubs and partying, but it’s the opposite of that,” Nick told DuJour magazine. “She wakes up early every morning to take care of her dogs, and she cooks for me. From her rapping, I was very surprised that she could do all that. She’s a really cool, down-to-earth person.”

After 14 years on the air, BET’s “106 & Park” aired its final episode on Friday. During the live two-hour “final act,” the original hosts AJ and Free returned to reminisce on highlights from the show’s historic run.
Keyshia Cole and Wale, who launched their careers on the “106″ stage, stopped by to hang with the livest audience one last time, while Big Sean, Ne-Yo, Ashanti, and Common taped farewell messages.
A passionate Wale spoke from the heart. “They tryna get rid of this. They tryna get rid of our voice. They tryna get rid of our style. They tryna get rid of our culture, they tryna dilute it,” he said. “Don’t ever get it twisted by no blog or no Internet people. This is our culture. Our parents had ‘Soul Train’ and ‘American Bandstand,’ we had ’106 & Park.’”
Nicki Minaj was the final guest on Thursday and sat down with Terrence and Rocsi to discuss the show’s legacy and her new album The Pinkprint.
“Can’t believe this show is coming to an end,” said Nicki. “It’s given me the best moments with my fans that I’ll cherish for a lifetime.”
In 2015, BET plans to take the show digital via BET.com and its social media platforms. There are still plans to produce “106 & Park” specials throughout the year, including the annual New Year’s Eve show, “106 & Party,” along with live event experiences at the BET Awards and BET Experience.
