SHADE BLOCKING !...SAY HELLO TO 90'S COLOR LENSES TREND

In my opinion, sunglasses are much more than just an accessory to “protect” the eyes from the sun or disguise when we aren’t wearing makeup. It has the power to make the ensemble even more stylish.

One of the emerging hottest trends for sunglasses in the year 2017. From the runways of Gucci and Opening Ceremony to celebrities like Bella Hadid, Nikki Minaj, Rihanna seen on Easter is one of the many celebs that are wearing coloured tinted sunglasses. This brings a whole new spectrum and trends for designers to play around with different shades of colours and gradient styled lenses.

This sunglass style was worn a lot in the 80’s/90’s and after that, it was featured in the latest fashion weeks, and has won the hearts of fashionistas and celebrities.  

The cool thing about it is that besides giving a touch of color to the look, it leaves the overall ensemble a more current aspect. Not to mention that, since the lens is transparent, we are able to wear it in closed environments without fear of looking foolish. I love it!

Although there are different color models, yellow lens is the highlight of the moment, but by being transparent, it gives an extra edge to the look.

Like everything in fashion, this type of trend is those that divide opinions, some love and others hate it, I am of the team that loves and now want some models for my collection! Haha.
