JENNIFER HUDSON FAMILY MURDER..BALFOUR FOUND GUILTY ALL COUNTS

Finally real justice!- After three days of deliberation, jurors found William Balfour guilty in the October 2008 shooting deaths of the Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew. 

Balfour has been convicted on all seven counts against him, which include three counts of first-degree murder, one count of home invasion, one count aggravated kidnapping, one count residential burglary, and one count possession of a stolen motor vehicle.


The verdict concludes the two-week Chicago trial that began April 23, 2012, which culminated in 83 witnesses and 500 pieces of evidence to build a circumstantial case.

Balfour, the ex-husband of Hudson's sister, killed 57-year-old Darnell Hudson, 29-year-old Jason Hudson and 7-year-old Julian King. Prosecuters believe that Balfour shot the family in a jealous rage because ex-wife Julia Hudson was dating another man.


Balfour, 31, now faces a life sentence in prison.  Eyewitnesses say Jennifer broke out in tears when the verdict was read.

 Yeezy followed his girlfriend Kim Kardashian to Toronto for the Canadian debut of her jewelry line Belle Noel. Journalists were surprised to see the hip-hop superstar working on his laptop while Kim conducted interviews in the same room.


Her E! reality show camera crew was also in tow as the couple exited the building through a sea of fans and photographers.  He's adjusting to be a Kardashian very well. Momager Kris probably love/hate this relatinship.

Earlier this week bad girl Ri Ri  was rushed to hospital suffering with 'exhaustion' after the glittering Met Ball, but we're pleased to see Rihanna looked back to her best as she worked the red carpet at the Battleship premiere in LA yesterday.

The singer wowed in a daring white Adam Selman gown, complete with plunging white neckline and thigh-high slit.

And she seemed to take the 'less is more approach' when it came to her accessories, adding simple white Manolo Blahnik heels, a statement gold bangle a siren red lip.

We definitely approve.

Rihanna and Chris Brown have stopped following each other on Twitter. BIG WHOOP!...

This horrifying fracas started this week after Brown released a freestyle version of Kanye West's "Way Too Cold." And, since not even a brutal assault, an arrest and a trial can get these two to move on, Brown had to naturally (allegedly) involve Rihanna.

On the track, Brown raps, "Don't (expletive) with my old (expletive), it's like a bad fur. Every industry (n-word) done had her. Shook the tree like a pumpkin just to smash her. (Expletive) is breaking codes, but I'm the password." Brown tweeted a link to the freestyle early Thursday.

 His post was met with a prompt response from Rihanna, who tweeted, "Aw, poor dat #neaux1currrrr" (twitterspeak for "no one cares"). She then immediately unfollowed Brown on the social network.  

According to MTV.com, Brown responded on Twitter on Thursday morning, issuing a semi-denial that the song is about Rihanna. But, of course, he couldn't just stop there, "Assumptions! I didn't say any names so if u took offense to it then it's something you feel guilty about," he tweeted.

Oh no he didn't!

SHAQUILLE O' NEAL GETS HIS DOCTORAL DEGEREE

From the court to the books Former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal is a doctor now. From NBA MVP to University Ph.D., “Dr. Shaq” is adding a new title to his name with a brand new doctoral degree. Dr. O’Neal received his Ph.D in Education from Barry University Saturday and even walked with his fellow grads to receive it.

Sporting a custom-made bright red gown to fit his seven-foot-one inch frame, Shaq was one of eleven-hundred students honored during the commencement ceremonies at the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami.

 Barry University officials say O’Neal, who also holds a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA, graduated with a three-point-eight grade point average.

In a statement, the university said the now-retired basketball star juggled the role of “athlete, student and entrepreneur” on his journey toward completing his doctoral degree, emphasizing that O’Neal kept up a grueling NBA schedule while pursuing his degree before his retirement last year.

Shaq says he’s proud of his accomplishment and thanks the school and his professors for helping him achieve it. He dedicated his PhD. to his mother who he says, “always stressed the importance of education.”

Chris Brown returned to Dancing With The Stars last night. He performed Turn Up The Music which is his first single off of his upcoming album, “Fortune”. Unlike last year, there was no extra fanfare from critics leading up to the performance. But like last year, Breezy gave one hell of a show-stopping performance. The 25-year-old rapper was spotted at Disneyland with 38-year-old Tyra Banks last week — and they seemed to be getting along splendidly.

Rihanna slipped into a stretchy black Tom Ford dress with Repossi jewelry. “I love coming to the Met Ball. It’s a fun event,” said the “Where Have You Been” singer. “You get dressed up, have some nice dinner, and have some entertainment.”

RiRi is working on a clothing line of her own. “Designing is definitely in the near future for me and we’re working on it as we speak,” she shared. “I can’t really say yet. It’ll be fun and it’ll definitely be things that I love and that are inspired by my personal style.”

Awww..super cute! He's only 18-months old but Alicia Keys' adorable little boy, Egypt already looks like a star in the making.  The tiny tot was front and center as he cheered on the New York Knicks basketball team with his musical mom and his dad Swizz Beats on Sunday.

Stealing the limelight from the court and the multimillion dollar players, Egypt was completely unfazed by the hoards of photographers clambering to get his photo.


Wearing a trendy bandana and denim outfit Egypt took in his first playoff game and he even got to witness his team win against the Miami Heat too.
