With their first collaboration, “The Haves and Have Nots,” still bringing in big numbers for the OWN network, producer Tyler Perry and talk show queen Oprah Winfrey have teamed up once again to bring us “If Loving You is Wrong.”
The primetime drama is a very Knots Landing-esque soap opera revolving around the lives of several married couples who all live in the same complex. With the show set to debut September 9th, the first trailer has been released, along with a very detailed synopsis about each couple. Needless to say, some spouses are sleeping with people they shouldn’t be, which I guess will make for some very interesting storylines.
Whitey Houston’s upcoming Lifetime biopic directed by actress Angela Bassett will feature the singer’s music, but not her voice.
According to online reports, 90’s R&B singer Deborah Cox will be providing the vocals because music rights and clearances for some of Houston’s biggest hits have still not been worked out yet.
According to a rep for Lifetime, negotiations to feature music performed by the icon are still ongoing, but are expected to be secured by the time filming wraps up.
Whitney and Deborah recorded the tune “Same Script, Different Cast” together back in 2000 and according to Deborah, the two remained close friends up until Whitney’s untimely passing in 2012. As previously reported, model Yaya DaCosta will be portraying Whitney in the Lifetime movie about the singer’s life, which is set to debut later this fall.
Drake and Chris Brown proved that their beef is in the past by appearing together in a hilarious skit at the 2014 ESPYS on Wednesday. After his friendship with Blake Griffin goes awry, Drake and the NBA All-Star go all out to prank each other. When he goes to have his appendix removed, Drake thinks it’s bad enough that Blake is the surgeon, but instead Breezy shows up to operate on him. “YOLO, motherfucker,” he says while holding some sharp tools and looking down at Drizzy on the operating table. The 33-year-old kept a protective hand on her growing baby bump as she wore an elegant tight fitting dress to the dinner hosted by Grey Goose. The singer wore ankle boots as her dark locks cascaded in curls over her shoulders while stealing a snap with her former Destiny's Child bandmate's parent.
Tina was looking fabulous in tight-fitting leggings and a revealing top featuring a plunging neckline. With her honey hued locks falling in flowing waves over her shoulders, the mother of both Beyonce and Solange stood tall in gold accented heels.
Kelly barely announced her pregnancy with husband Tim Witherspoon in June but her bump is clearly already blossoming. On June 10, the singer revealed she was pregnant through an Instagram photo that captured her new husband Tim's shoes sitting beside a pint-sized pair of trainers. Newly married raptress Eve is returning to cable TV alongside singer Jill Scott and “Think Like a Man Too” actress Regina Hall. The trio will star in the upcoming romantic comedy “With this Ring,” set to air on Lifetime later this fall. The project will be directed by Nzingha Stewart (she wrote it as well), who brings along actress Gabrielle Union and Tracey Edmonds as executive producers. The film revolves around three friends who vow to get married within a year after attending a friend’s wedding. Along with her stint on Lifetime, fans can expect to see Eve in early 2015 when her new semi-autobiographical comedy with ABC makes its mid-season debut.

These girls ain't Loayal....Karrueche Tran has been in the headlines for her on-again, off-again relationship with Chris Brown. While she normally shies away from interviews, the R&B superstar’s girlfriend opened up about all the heartbreak and drama during her appearance on Keke Palmer’s BET talk show “Just Keke.”
“I’ve never dated a celebrity, so it was very new to me, paparazzi and all that,” said the 26-year-old while reflecting on her romance with Chris.
“Even the situation with Rihanna, the reason why people tuned into this so much is because it’s relatable. I have girlfriends, I have family who’s gone through the same situations. The case of the ex. We all go through it.”
She found herself in a sticky situation. “In this case, my boyfriend is a celebrity who’s ex-girlfriend is an even bigger [celebrity]…so not only am I fighting a battle with her, I’m fighting a battle with her 14 million fans or however else.”
Social media has been especially unkind. “They make up all kinds of crazy stuff and it’s like they know nothing about me,” said Karrueche. “But because they know nothing about me, because I stay so mute sometimes, that leaves open space for them to say whatever they want.”
The interview took an emotional turn when Keke asked her what was the hardest part of being in a love triangle. “I guess I would say the heartbreak because it was a real situation,” said a teary-eyed Karrueche.

Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush, 29, who famously dated Kim off and on from 2007 to 2010, married his longtime girlfriend, dancer Lilit Avagyan, on Saturday at the Grand Del Mar hotel in San Diego.
The bride looked stunning in a form-fitting lace and tulle mermaid gown with delicate detailing along the bodice and a long train. For his part, Bush suited up in a classic black brocade tuxedo and bow tie.
After becoming Mr. and Mrs., the pair were all smiles as they exited the chapel as a married couple to a sea of cheers from wedding guests. Lilit danced down the aisle while Bush grabbed high-fives from friends.
While Brody Jenner was a no show at his stepsister Kim Kardashian‘s May wedding to Kanye West, he went very public about being a guest at her ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush’s nuptials on Saturday.

Tracy Morgan heads out in a wheelchair as he is spotted for the first time since he was injured in horrific crash that killed his friend. Tracy Morgan seen going home from NJ rehabilitation facility, Morgan was initially moved to rehabilitation after being hospitalized with broken leg and broken ribs. The 45-year-old was seen in a wheelchair with his left leg bandaged as he was transported to his home in Creskill, New Jersey. Tracy is also uing Wal-Mart for negligence as one of their drivers was involved in auto accident on June 7. His friend James McNair was killed in the crash. Tracey friend comedian Ardie Fuqua, of Jersey City, remains in critical condition.
The lawsuit, filed Thursday in U.S. District Court in New Jersey, claims Wal-Mart was negligent when a driver of one of its tractor-trailers rammed into Morgan's limousine bus. The complaint claims the retail giant should have known that its driver had been awake for over 24 hours and that his commute of 700 miles from his home in Georgia to work in Delaware was 'unreasonable.' It also alleges the driver fell asleep at the wheel. Morgan's condition has been upgraded from serious to fair. AlsoWalmart driver Kevin Roper, 35, has been charged over the accident.
