THE CARTERS....BEYONCÉ AND JAY Z BRING ‘ON THE RUN’ CONCERT SPECIAL TO HBO

We are Beyonce and Jay Z fan but the world seems to never get enough of this power couple.  The Carters are coming to HBO. Beyoncé and Jay Z will bring their “On the Run Tour” to the network.

The concert event will air in September, it was announced today by Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming.

The show will tape September 12 and 13 at Stade de France in Paris, the only international dates of their tour, and will feature the superstars performing more than 40 songs.

“This is a major musical event that belongs on HBO,” said Lombardo. “It’s going to be a night to remember.”

This marks the latest collaboration between the couple and HBO. Beyoncé starred in the 2013 documentary Life Is But a Dream and is currently appearing in “Beyoncé: X10,” a 10-episode series of concert performances. Jay Z debuted his performance art film “Picasso Baby” on the network in August.

The couple is currently on their co-headlining stadium tour, which wraps its U.S. leg on August 6 in San Francisco.

As previously reported, the former “America’s Next Top Model” beauty landed the role of a lifetime when she auditioned for Angela Bassett and reportedly blew the Academy Award nominated actress away.

Angela is directing Lifetime’s upcoming biopic on the singer, reportedly set to be released sometime this fall.

In the above photo, Yaya recreates the cover to Whitney’s 1987 album “Whitney,” and called the shoot pretty easy.

“My modeling background definitely came in handy,” Yaya told Entertainment Weekly. “I just looked at the picture and did the pose.”

The internet’s reaction to the first image of Yaya has Whitney has been pretty mixed. Some think she recreated the look perfectly, with others claiming she looks like a cheap version of Whitney.

I definitely fall in line with those who are ok with the image. Yaya doesn’t have to be a Whitney clone. Angele Bassett looks nothing like the real Tina Turner, but as we know, she worked the hell outta that role and effortlessly mastered all of Tina’s dance moves.

I have no doubt Yaya will also rise to the occasion, and I look forward to the first trailer, which I’m sure we’ll get within the next few weeks.

40 YEAR OLD EVE MENDES IS EXPECTING A BABY WITH RYAN GOSLING

Should be a cutie...Actress Eva Mendes, 40, and her longtime boyfriend Ryan Gosling, 33, are expecting their 1st baby together, an insider confirmed to US Weekly.

The couple who co-starred in the excellent movie The Place Beyond the Pines, have dated for nearly three years.

Pregnancy rumors cropped up earlier this year after Mendes refused to walk through the airport scanners.  The word on the curb is Eva is 7 months pregnant.

“It’s so ridiculous,” she she told Ellen Degeneres at the time. “It all started because I didn’t want to go through the scanners at the airport. You know those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy? They basically see you naked, right? And not only that, but there’s a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out.”

 The baby will be the first for Mendes and Gosling. In 2008 Mendes spent several weeks at a rehab facility. There are also rumors that she once suffered from an undisclosed mental illness.

Could it be time to do a standing gig in Vegas?  Mariah Carey’s album Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse debuted at No. 3 last month, selling 58,000 copies. While the first-week sales were the lowest of her career (for a non-holiday album), Jermaine Dupri is not sweating it. The So So Def mogul, who manages the pop diva and executive produced Chanteuse, is confident that it will build over time.

Mariah is moving forward with plans to shoot a video for her next single, the J.D.-produced “You Don’t Know What to Do” featuring Wale.

When producer of her album J.D. was ask about Mariah album this is what he had to say:

“I actually feel like it’s probably one of her best albums she’s ever made,” he told Rap-Up TV at the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards. “I’m excited to see where the album ends up. I tell a lot of people, this era of music and this genre, they don’t understand records that come out small and sell a lot of records.”

He compared the situation to Kris Kross and Bow Wow, who both put up low first-week sales, but went on to sell millions. “So it’s like the first-week sales sometimes don’t really matter,” he said. “I think people gotta start understanding. If you have a plan and you can put the plan in play, you just gotta keep livin’ it out.”

Could it be that Mariah ship has sailed?  "I'd be surprised if Mariah was able to come back. I just don't know where you go from there."

Life just got real...Phadera Parks husband, Real Housewives of Atlanta husband Apollo Nida sentenced to jail time after pleading guilty to identity theft and fraud charges…

The husband of a "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star was sentenced to 8 years in prison followed by 5 years of supervised release after pleading guilty to mail, wire and bank fraud charges.
Federal prosecutors accused Apollo Nida, husband of Phaedra Parks, of participating in a four-year scheme that cost more than 50 victims $2.3 million.

U.S. District Court Judge Charles A. Pannell, Jr. also ordered Nida to pay restitution to the victims of his offenses, and scheduled a separate hearing to take place on July 17 to calculate the restitution amount.
Nida pleaded guilty to the charges on May 6. He remains out on bond until he is ordered to report to prison to serve his sentence.

But it seems Beyonce could have another sibling she knew nothing about as her father Mathew Knowles has been hit with another paternity suit. He was named in court documents filed on May 30 by a 30-year-old Houston-area woman named TaQoya Branscomb.

According to Buzzfeed, the lingerie model turned estate agent alleges he fathered a female child born in 2010 in Harris County, Texas, and is demanding he takes DNA test.

She is also going after the multimillionaire for child support and money for her attorney’s fees.
Mathew certainly has previous form, after he was forced to admit in 2010 he was the father of actress Alexsandra Wright’s son, a development which allegedly led to his divorce from wife Tina after 31 years of marriage.

Earlier this year he succeeded in getting his child support payment for his son slashed due to his dwindling income, despite earning millions as his daughter's manager. The legal maneuver came as it emerged he had skipped yet another month of payments to Alexsandra Wright, the mother of his four-year-old son Nixon.

Alexsandra laid into him during a TV interview, claiming he had never even met his son, telling Inside Edition's Jim Moret: 'You've seen more of my son than he has.' It previously emerged she was using 'food stamps to survive' after it was revealed he owed $32,135,90 in child support.

Before the split: Mathew with his superstar daughter (he used to be her manager, too) her sister Solange and his former wife of 31 years, Tina.

Beyonce, 32, and sister Solange, 27, didn't attend their father's wedding when he re-married earlier this year, tying the knot with former model Gena Charmaine Avery in Houston, Texas in June.

The couple made their entrance into the reception as husband and wife, to the tune of a live band. Gourmet dinner was soon served - with options including short ribs, fish or a vegetarian option as well as wine and other beverages.

E! Online reports that the ceremony had concluded at 5pm, after it had been claimed the wedding would kick off at 4.

The website states that God Only Knows by the Beach Boys played during the wedding as the happy couple said 'I do' against a rose garden backdrop.

That morning, the bridal party started the celebrations early as they sipped champagne while having their hair and make-up done, according to E!.

They got engaged just five months later, though their wedding plans - which were originally going to be held in Hawaii on auspicious 11/11/11 - suffered several major delays due to two back-to-back pregnancies.
