Beyonce Birthday Gift To Her Hubby Jay-Z, The Most Expensive Car In The World

While some of us are on foot or looking under our couches for "bus fare". Beyonce is celebrating her husband’s birthday by buying Jay-Z a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport, the most expensive car in the world. Hova turned 41 this past Saturday, and what better way to tell someone you love them than to buy them a car worth more than the GDP of Portugal? The amount Bee dropped on the new ride?  I hope you are sitting down, because it’s $2 million dollars.  

According to the Bugatti website, the Grand Sport is able to go 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 253 miles per hour, which would come in handy when we want to get to the store to buy Ramen, because that’s all we could ever eat again if we bought this car.

The Grand Sport is now just one of many in Jay-Z’s luxury car collection, which purportedly also includes a Maybach 62S, Ferrari F430 Spider and a Pagani Zonda Roadster, which we suspect based on the names are actually Transformers in disguise. Lucky for you, there are seven Great Sports still available! Sure, you’ll have to live in it, and your kids can’t go to college, but isn’t being awesome a little more important than that? "I'm not even kind of a lesbian," Winfrey says. Persistent gossip to the contrary annoys her, she says, explaining that, if it were true, "Why would you want to hide it? That is not the way I run my life."

Asked to describe her relationship with King, Winfrey calls her "the mother I never had, the sister everybody would want. She is the friend that everybody deserves." Winfrey's eyes moisten and her voice chokes as she adds, "I don't know a better person."

Winfrey will end her daytime talk show next spring and, on Jan. 1, is launching a cable channel, the Oprah Winfrey Network.

Wesley Snipes Summoned To Prison Before Xmas Goes On Larry King To Set The Record Straight

Snipes only interview with CNN Larry king before LOCK DOWN.  First off,  Blade oppsWesley Snipes would like to make it clear that he's going to prison for avoiding, not evading, taxes.

"I was never charged with tax evasion," the Blade star, who's been ordered to surrender by Thursday at noon to begin his three-year stay in a Pennsylvania federal prison, stated tonight on Larry King Live. "I was convicted of three misdemeanors of willful failure to file a form."

"And how is that different from evasion?" inquired King, bless him.

"Well, I'm not the lawyer, Larry, so I'll let the lawyer explain that a little bit further," Snipes evaded the question replied.

Elizabeth Edwards dies at age 61

Wife of disgraced former Democratic politician John Edwards and healthcare activist dies after battle with cancer.  Elizabeth Edwards, wife of disgraced Democratic politician John Edwards, has died after a public battle with cancer that had won her a legion of admirers. She was surrounded by her family, including her estranged former husband, at her home in North Carolina. She was 61 .

But, as Edwards herself would have admitted, neither cancer nor failure of her marriage was the biggest sadness in her life. The couple lost their son, Wade, in a road accident in 1996. After the tragedy they had two more children while Edwards was in her 40's.

The family said:

"Today we have lost the comfort of Elizabeth’s presence but, she remains the heart of this family," the family said in a statement. "We love her and will never know anyone more inspiring or full of life. On behalf of Elizabeth we want to express our gratitude to the thousands of kindred spirits who moved and inspired her along the way. Your support and prayers touched our entire family."
