Another one bites the dust.... Like I previously reported back in March that the rumor was out now it's official. Kelis is expecting her first child with Nas which would be his 2nd child. After almost six years of martial bliss Kelis has filed for divorce from Nas it was officially announced today.

“I can confirm that she has filed for divorce,” Kelis’ publicist told VIBE. “We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time.”

At around 3:45 p.m. PST on Thursday, Kelis’ attorney Laura Wasser filed final divorce papers on behalf of her client, citing verbal abuse and INFIDELITY .

The hip-hop couple announced in February that they were expecting their first child. Kelis is currently seven months pregnant and the baby, a boy, is due this summer. “I wanted to let ya’ll know from me personally that I’m having my first SON!!!!!” NAS Blogged and Bragged earlier this year.

Nas, 35, and Kelis, 29, first met at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ MTV Video Music Awards after-party in 2002. After dating for two years, the pair married in Atlanta on July 28, 2003. They collaborated on several tracks including “Blindfold Me” off 2006’s Kelis Was Here and “Not Going Back” from Nas’ album Hip Hop Is Dead.

UPDATE: A Georgia man has been convicted of stalking former supermodel Tyra Banks. On Thursday, a judge in New York convicted Brady Green, 39, of stalking, harassment, criminal trespass and attempted aggravated harassment, according to the Associated Press. Green faces up to 90 days in jail when he is sentenced on June 18. Tyra Banks arrives in "Chic Court Couture Fashion", she is finally gets to put some closure to her stalker case. Supermodel and Emmy-winning talk show host Trya testified in court Wednesday that an alleged stalker left her in fear for her safety.

Brady Green (pictured below arriving to court) is currently on trial facing charges he stalked and harassed Banks during a months-long bid to meet and seduce the TV talk show host back in 2008. Of course he cleaned up for court, (I can see CRAZY behind his eyes).

Green, 38, is accused of sending Tyra flowers, packages and notes, and threatening Banks’ assistant when she refused to reveal the star’s address.

The L.A.P.D. have agreed too speak to Rihanna today.

Tina Turner ...I mean Rihanna asked Los Angeles police and prosecutors to return over a million dollars in jewelry that was seized as evidence the night she was beaten by Ike, aka then-boyfriend Chris Brown.

L.A. Superior Court confirms that the LAPD will photograph the $1.4 million in borrowed jewelry and return it to her today.

Attorneys are due back in court on May 28Th to set a date for the preliminary hearing.
