JAMIE FOXX TO PLAY THE VILLAIN IN SPIDER-MAN 2

He's on a role...literally, After playing a slave out for revenge in Quentin Tarantino's upcoming Django Unchained, Jamie Foxx is staking out another electrifying role.

A source confirmed to E! News that the Oscar winner will play Peter Parker's latest arch-enemy in Sony's highly anticipated sequel to last summer's The Amazing Spider-Man. 
So which baddie within Spidey's gallery of rogues is getting the big-screen treatment this time? 

Well according to Variety, which first reported the negotiations, the 44-year-old Foxx would play Electro, one of Spider-Man's most dangerous villains who made his debut in The Amazing Spider-Man No. 9 back in Feb. 1964.

As Marvel Comics lore has it, Electro is the guise of Maxwell Dillon, an emotionally stunted man with an inferiority complex who's struck by lightning while working as a lineman. Instead of being killed, the accident gives him the superhuman ability to control electricity. Donning a green and yellow lightning-themed costume and embracing a life of crime, Electro becomes one of the webslinger's most fearsome foes.

If Marvel's traditional post-credits teaser to The Amazing Spider-Man is any indication, Electro ought to play a big role in the follow up. 

Jamie Foxx had previously revealed that his four year old daughter was a huge Spider-Man fan. Now, Access Hollywood has an update on how Jamie Foxx revealed the news to his daughter. Foxx surprised the lucky little girl with a set visit. 

While filming of The Amazing Spider-Man sequel isn’t set to start until February, pre-production has already begun, so we’re assuming he took her to see sets under construction

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are set to reprise their roles as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy respectively with Marc Webb back in the director's chair. If all goes according to plan, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 should be swinging into theaters on May 2, 2014.

Christina has new music on the way. She has collaborated with Australian DJ-production duo and fellow Cash Money signees Stafford Brothers on their new single “Hello,” which also features Lil Wayne. The song is expected to debut this month.


As “The Voice” wraps its third season next week, social media correspondent Christina Milian stopped by Anderson Cooper’s daytime show to promote the NBC show and share her love for…onesies. The “Dip It Low” singer showed off her trendy outfit and tried to convince Anderson to get one of his own.

ATLANTA HOUSEWIVES KEYNA MOORE ISSUES A STATMENT ABOUT "FAKE BOYFRIEND" ALLEGATIONS

Atlanta Housewives Kenya Moore found her stiletto's in deep Sh**t over this pass week, due to her on screen fake boyfriend Walter Jackson going on a local radio station V-103 Atlanta and spilling the tea that there relationship is one big fake business deal as previous reported.  

  Its been two days since Walter Jackson let the cat out of the bag about their FAKE for television relationship this is the best you and your people could come up with Kenya. Once again, Kenya has not learned her lesson. 

Saying stuff publicly about this virtually nobody... Walter is what got her in this mess in the first place. If it was not for her calling him “gay”, he would have never went to the radio and blew the whistle. Now she is calling Walter “hateful and deceitful”, I wonder how Walter is going to take to that.

Honestly Kenya, give it a rest. No one believes anything you have to say at this point. Even if you are telling the truth, you have done such a good job of establishing yourself as an unstable nutcase in peoples minds, that people can’t take you serious. In an effort to avoid further embarrassment and moreover being sued by BRAVO, Kenya Moore has issued the below statement:  “The truth is and has always been that I want to be in a loving, honest, long-term relationship with someone who genuinely loves me for me — Walter’s recent statements are.

“The truth is and has always been that I want to be in a loving, honest, long-term relationship with someone who genuinely loves me for me — Walter’s recent statements are completely false. I am embarrassed that I allowed a deceitful and hateful person in my life.

He says he ‘did it for fame.’ I’ve been humiliated enough by appearing desperate for a man to marry me who now admits he had his own agenda. I urge viewers to stay tuned because the truth will come to light. I am moving on from this situation and hope he can as well with respect and dignity going forward. I have heard the fans and my friends loud and clear … I can do better than Walter, and I will.

  One of the biggest rules of combat is “never fight with someone who has nothing to loose.” Walter Jackson is a successful Atlanta businessman with no real interests of a career in media. In essence, when it comes to all this drama and banter in the media, HE HAS NOTHING TO LOOSE. Kenya Moore on the other hand, her entire existence at this point is media and entertainment. This is not a good look. 

 We don’t know Kenya or Walter, but if i had to make a judgement based on perception, I’d have to say that I do not think Walter Jackson is lying about he and Kenya’s FAKE relationship. What incentive does he have?

 The fact that he agreed to do it makes him look bad as well. I ain’t mad with Kenya though. I guess if put in her shoes, i’d be saying whatever i needed to try and remedy this situation. Honey boo boo child, if she knows like I know, she better hire SCANDAL Oliva Pope to get this fixed immediately.

New mom and new wife, Here are the first pics of Drew Barrymore’s daughter Olive and ain’t she a cutie! The name totally suits her. Like most famous offspring, Olive’s society debut is on the cover of a gossip magazine. I’m sure this People cover will end up in her scrapbook one day, right next to her first paparazzi photo.

Drew told the magazine what life is like adjusting to being a mom.

“I couldn’t eat or sleep for two weeks, I was just so nervous!” Drew confesses to the mag, “You have the highest highs and yet you’re facing the biggest fear of, ‘How do I keep someone alive?’”

  Drew, whose had several failed marriages and a less-than-normal upbringing (she was in rehab at age 13) is desperate to give her daughter the childhood she DIDN’T have. Thankfully, her husband Will Kopelman seems like a total family man.

“I really wanted a wonderful traditional home for my kids,” says the actress, “Will comes from a strong family, he provides a strong family…it just makes me so emotional because it’s like a miracle.”

 Most moms say it’s hard to describe how much they fall in love with their little one, but I think Drew sums it up in a super cute way when she says, “It’s like the biggest crush I’ve ever had in my life!”

JAMIE FOX & LEONARDO DI CAPRIO DJANGO UNCHAINED PREMIERE

The mega A-list stars come out, Leonardo DiCaprio suits up while attending a screening of his highly anticipated film Django Unchained held at Ziegfeld Theater in New York City.

The 38-year-old actor was joined by his director Quentin Tarantino and co-stars Jamie Foxx and  Olivia Wilde, Zoe Kravitz were also seen attending the premiere. 

Joining them on the red carpet were Samuel L. Jackson who donned a gray jacket paired with a matching cap, as well as Christopher Waltz and Don Johnson who looked dapper in their tailored suits. Singer John Legend was also spotted posing with the cast members, looking sleek in his all-black attire.

Newly single Kimora Lee Simmons is rumored to be dating again.  Simmons, who announced her split from Djimon Hounsou two weeks ago, has been seen with  36 year old 6'6 Ukrainian heavyweight boxing champion. 

Simmons and Vladimir Klitschko allegedly went to Fredric Fekkai Salon’s Holiday Party in Los Angeles together.

Partygoers spotted Simmons and the Russian boxer arm and arm at event. The two posed for a photo at the event. This is the first public date for Simmons since her split from Hounsou. The couple called it quits after 5½ years together. They were not married but do share a son, Kenzo.

Simmons confirmed the news on Twitter on November 22, after rumors surfaced that Hounsou was going public about their separation. Simmons also has two daughters with ex-husband Russell Simmons. NEW MOVIE TRAILER: WILL & JAYDEN SMITH "AFTER EARTH"

The first full trailer for Will Smith and Jaden Smith's sci-fi action epic "After Earth" makes it clear that the summer 2013 release will be visually impressive and full of action.

One thing the trailer doesn't make clear: the movie is directed by M. Night Shyamalan. After "The Sixth Sense" made Shyamalan one of the most famous young directors in Hollywood, he became a brand name. But after back-to-back disasters "Lady in the Water" and "The Happening" and an underwhelming attempt at a family blockbuster with "The Last Airbender," that brand was in crisis.

Can "After Earth" bring him back? Clearly, the goal is to sell the film on the visuals, Will Smith's starpower and Jaden Smith's emerging appeal (he hasn't made a movie since the hit remake of "The Karate Kid," but that wildly outperformed expectations).
