Poetic Justice, put it in a song...alright! Janet Jackson Goes Back to Braids at Versace Show ... was front row at the Versace womenswear show during Milan Fashion Week on Friday.  Accompanied by her fiancee Wissam Al Mana, 

There have been a slew of celebrities rocking braids lately--Beyonce, Christina Milian and Willow Smith, to name a few. But no plaits can compare to Janet Jackson's famous box braids from the 1993 film "Poetic Justice."

That said, you can imagine our excitement when Miss Jackson was spotted at Milan Fashion Week sporting the iconic 'do! With the long, thick braids cascading from her high ponytail.

 The duo may have been checking out all the trends for Fall 2013, but Janet's revived hairstyle is making us reminisce on days gone by. We're loving it! How about you?

BEYONCE HELL YES!...KELLY YES!...Michelle Williams, we don' t know about this one. 
Michelle Williams can add “reality star” to her ever growing resume. The Destiny’s Child member will star and produce “My Sister’s Keeper.” 

The show, which will be distributed by Entertainment One Television will follow Michelle as she prepares to release her third gospel album, as well as balance her family and personal life.

In a press release, Michelle shared: “Working together on my new gospel album and television series, I am excited to share with everyone a behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration and journey of recording for the album, performing, fun family times and other unforgettable experiences out together with my dear sisters.”

In addition to her guest cameo in Beyonce’s epic Super Bowl Halftime Show Michelle is currently on a nationwide tour of the Tony Award winning Broadway musical “Fela.”

Cake..Cake..Cake... Rihanna finally posted photos of her 25th birthday celebration with friends including Chris Brown and BFF Melissa Forde in Hawaii. Ri-Ri Instagrammed several Polaroid pictures (that's so meta-hipster we can barely stand it) of herself and Breezy cuddling, canoodling and generally being all over each other.

More pics surfaced Thursday of Rihanna and Chris holding hands while vacationing in Honolulu, Hawaii. She also shared a throwback photo from her 20th birthday.

WIZ KHALIFA AND AMBER ROSE WELCOME A BABY BOY!

Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose are proud parents of a new baby boy, born Thursday afternoon.

"Happy Birthday Sebastian 'The Bash' Taylor Thomaz!!!," Khalifa posted on Twitter. "Everyone welcome this perfect young man into the world."

He'd prepped fans for the news by tweeting a picture of himself in surgical cap and mask a bit earlier in the day, along with the message, "Daddy time." Dad's birth name is Cameron Thomaz.

The couple knew the sex of the baby back in September, when they announced the pregnancy on the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet, but had been keeping it a secret from the rest of the world.


According to MTV, the baby came three days earlier than its expected Feb. 24 due date.

The two have been engaged to be married since March of last year.

MEL B. TO REPLACE SHARON OSBORNE ON AMERICA'S GOT TALENT

cary Spice Girl Mel B is taking over from Sharon Osbourne on America's Got Talent - and will leave NBC with one finger on the panic button as she joins outspoken Howard Stern and Howie Mandel on live TV.

The mum-of-three, 37, will join auditions for the talent show in Los Angeles this month, a source confirmed.

Mel has long been a favourite of show boss Simon Cowell, and was a popular stand-in judge on the X Factor UK last year.

America’s Got Talent is set to undergo a revamp for season 8 after ratings dipped in last September’s finale.


The show - which is the world’s biggest selling TV format - moved to New York from Los Angeles especially to accommodate radio star Stern, 58, who replaced Piers Morgan.

Sharon Osbourne, 60, announced her departure from AGT last July – and then declared she had left after the way NBC executives had treated her son Jack following his diagnosis with multiple sclerosis.

She told the New York Post that Jack had been axed from an upcoming NBC show called Stars Earn Stripes, saying: ‘I just can’t be fake. It’s discrimination, and it was badly handled.’

A source told MailOnline: 'Simon loves trying people out on his shows, Mel's already been a judge on X Factor Australia and it's too far for her to keep taking the kids.

'She did want to do X Factor UK, but Simon really wanted her to do America's Got Talent.

'She's outspoken and never afraid to speak her mind, she makes for good TV. NBC execs will be watching through their eyes - let's hope they won't be using the delay button on live TV.

Mel, who is married to Stephen Belafonte, is mum to daughter Phoenix, who celebrated her 14th birthday yesterday, as well as Angel, five, and one-year-old Madison.

The critics’ darling capped off a triumphant year by winning two awards including British Female Solo Artist and British Album for her debut Our Version of Events at Wednesday’s Brit Awards 2013. She also closed the show with her hit singles “Clown” and “Next to Me.”

THE ROC IS IN THE BUILDING..JAY-Z ROC NATION NEW PUBLISHING DEAL WITH WARNER/CHAPELL

Rap mogul Jay-Z and the publishing roster of his company Roc Nation have signed a global publishing administration deal with Warner Music Group's pubbery Warner/Chappell.


Agreement, which is effective immediately, covers all of Jay-Z's future works plus his catalog dating back to 2008, including the chart-topping "The Blueprint 3" and "Watch the Throne," his collaborative effort with Kanye West. Songs include "Empire State of Mind" and the Grammy-winning "N****s in Paris" and "No Church in the Wild."

By the end of the year, deal will cover the majority of the 17-time Grammy-winner's writing catalog, including such albums as "The Blueprint Vol. 2…Hard Knock Life" and "The Black Album."

Parallel agreement with Roc Nation covers the company's entire repertoire of both past and future works. Its writing roster includes Philip Lawrence (B.o.B's "Nothin' On You," Bruno Mars' "Just the Way You Are" and Grenade, Cee-Lo Green's "F**k You"), S1 (Kanye West's "Power," Beyonce's "Best Thing I Never Had," "50 Cent's "My Life" ), Carmen Key and Rita Ora.

 Warner/Chappell president, creative-North America Jon Platt said in a statement, "I first partnered with Jay in 1996, and it's been thrilling to work with my friend over the past 16 years as he's grown into one of the world's best songwriters and become a global icon.

 He consistently breaks new ground, producing an incredible body of work that will be enjoyed by generations of fans to come. At the same time, Roc Nation is one of the most dynamic and influential music companies around."

TLC STARTER WIFE CONFIDETIAL CANCELLED

I know if you are like us,  we have never seen one episode anyway so there's nothing we have missed.  TLC's failed reality show "Starter Wives Confidential" -- featuring the exes of 50 Cent, Lamar Odom, DMX, and Funkmaster Flex -- was pulled off the air ONLY because the RATINGS SUCKED ... despite speculations otherwise. 

You'll recall, the reality show was cancelled a few days after its Jan. 29 debut. Many believed it was due to a slew of problems plaguing the show -- including 50 Cent's outspoken dislike of his ex's participation. 

Even one of the stars, Monica Joseph-Taylor (Flex's ex) was confused by the sudden purge, writing on her blog, "Is it ratings? Is it a change in network direction…or all the outside drama?!"

TMZ obtained a letter -- written from the network to the cast members -- which sets the record straight.

The letter states, "Unfortunately, due to the low ratings, the remaining episodes will not air on TLC, but will be viewable on TLC.com." 

It continues, "The decision by TLC isn't personal, although I know it is to you all, and for that we are very sorry.  You ladies gave your all to the show and everyone at TLC is very disappointed that the viewers didn't take this ride with us."

HERE'S THE CAST OF VH1 R & B GROUP TLC BIOPIC

Meet the cast of Crazy, Sexy, Cool...The network has officially announced the roles of Left Eye, Chilli, and T-Boz in the upcoming TLC biopic Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story.

In the film, KeKe Palmer (Akeelah and the Bee) will portray Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, Lil Mama (“America’s Best Dance Crew”) will take on the role of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and Drew Sidora (Step Up, “The Game”) has been cast as Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins.

The full-length TV movie will explore the Grammy-winning trio’s rise to fame with their 1991 debut Ooooooohhh… On the TLC Tip and 1994’s groundbreaking album CrazySexyCool, which sold more than 22 million albums worldwide and made them one of the most successful female groups of all time.

Charles Stone III (Drumline, Paid in Full) will direct the biopic, which is penned by screenwriter Kate Lanier (Set It Off, Beauty Shop). The film is slated to begin production next month in Atlanta.

KHOLE KARDASHIAN...YOUR FIRED!..FROM X-FACTOR

Not a good start to the week for Khloe Kardashian. A report from the New York Post says Khloe will not be back for the next season of the singing competition "The X Factor," on Fox. Khloe joined Mario Lopez as co-host for the show's second season. Lopez has been asked back.

"The X Factor" was Kardashian's first hosting gig, and she often times appeared unprepared. Hosting expert Marki Costello says, "It was really hard for me to watch Mario with her. It made me, as a viewer, almost uncomfortable."

Britney Spears, a judge on the show, announced her departure in January. She's expected to end up with a Las Vegas residency. Another judge, LA. Reid, also left the show to focus on his job at Epic Records. Now, Fox and show creator/judge Simon Cowell are quickly trying to rebuild the show. 

One idea might bring a judge let go early in the season one audition process, British singer Cheryl Cole, back into the fold.

A spokesperson for the show confirms that no talent decisions have been made for this year's competition.

ALICIA KEYS CHATS ON SWIZZ BEATZ, EGYPT’S KISS WITH BLUE IVY ON ‘WENDY WILLIAMS’

The 32-year-old songstress said that she wants more children, but not for at least two more years as she chats with the queen of shade Wendy Williams.  Alicia Keys stopped by “The Wendy Williams Show” on Monday during her never-ending promo tour. The “Girl on Fire” cut loose and dished with Wendy about chopping her hair, her son Egypt, and husband Swizz Beatz.

“He’s kind of a little too ostentatious for my taste,” said Alicia, who saw beyond Swizz’ flashiness. “He really got me when I saw how far his mind went. He’s really, really intelligent and knows so many interesting things.”

She also shared a cute moment when her son Egypt put the moves on Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy. “I think Egypt kissed Blue and I don’t think Jay liked it very much. He called my husband and he was like, ‘Watch your son.’”

Plus, she hit the stage to perform “Brand New Me.”

LOVELY LADY BUMP...BLACK EYED PEAS FERGIE IS PREGNANT WITH HER 1ST CHILD

We are so happy for this couple! There's another pea joining the pod. Fergie and Josh Duhamel are expecting a baby, the singer confirmed on Twitter Monday.  "Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!!" she Tweeted. 

This will be the first child for the couple, who wed in January 2009 in Malibu. 

Both Fergie, 37, and Duhamel, 40, have been clear about their desire for children – but kept the timeline open. 

"Not right this second," the Black Eyed Peas front woman said in May 2011, while her husband added, "We'll go there at some point." 

It seems the time has arrived.

The Bajan singer ended her night at The Box nightclub with a cut knee after being 'assaulted' by the stranger, who hurled abuse at her regarding her union with Brown, outside the exclusive nightspot. 
According to eye-witnesses, the injury came after the unidentified fan threw a bottle of Lucozade at the singer, before flinging a stream of insults about her on-off boyfriend.  Rihanna was in town for London Fashion Week.

NE-YO PERFORMANCE MEDLEY AT NBA ALL-STAR GAME

Did you see Neyo lackluster performance?  The crowd and the players pumped up with an energetic performance. The R&B gentleman kicked off the festivities with a medley of “Let’s Go,” “Let Me Love You,” and “Forever Now” as the East and West teams were introduced. He worked up a sweat on stage and changed his wardrobe multiple times during the dance-heavy set.

But his performance wasn’t well received by everyone. He fired back at those who criticized his vocals.

“Shout out to those showing love. Everybody has an off day….all good. Fuck any and all haters. Talk it while I live it bitches!!!” tweeted Ne-Yo.
